Azmaru Hakkai vs. Humbra

FIGHT!
PostPosted: Tue Jun 06, 2006 7:08 pm

His blank eyes looked across the sand filled arena once he had entered the southern gate. The fighter, however clad in a black cloak, held himself firm in hiding his appearance from his opponent. Humbra awaited the first words to be spoke by his said opponent, whom the speaker declared was some 'Azmaru Hakkai' person. For the next few seconds he waited. The metal on his belt jingled slightly from an incoming breeze- letting a small chinking sound to flow from himself. Shadows loomed over his appearance, mostly forming a shadow behind himself, where his normal stature of 5'7 let fall.

Eventually he'd just look out into the crowd, thinking about how large the field was. It was three-hundred yards across with startlingly tall walls around him. He estimated the walls to be somewhere in the range of a hundred to a hundred and three feet high. Whilst looking back from the sky down to his opponent he noted that the fight was actually taking place 300 meters below the ground.

He awaited his opponent's move.

Azmaru slowly walked through the arena. He grinned as he saw his opponent. He looked down at himself, and then laughed slightly. "This guy looks better then me." He simply tossed his head back, and let his dark hair get tossed back. He glanced at this 'Humbra' man, and his eyes slowly became sharper.

His eyes quickly shot around looking at the arena "About 250-300 feet long, 100 feet tall walls. Hmm, fun."

His left leg shot backwards, and bent down to about 120 degrees, his right leg went forward and bent further down, he kept it straight and let it go out as far as it good. His right hand hung down, and his left simply was held out straight so it shot directly out from his shoulder (direct line fro neck to shoulder)

Humbra's stark eyes narrowed at the oddly stanced human. Small amounts of metal-on-metal rasping was heard from his cloak, making it sound like he had some sort of machine under his large black garb. His eyes, however darkened by his mind, still held firm on Azmaru.

The sand went neatly between his toes. His rough ground-beaten feet rested above the warm sun-scarred stone that held the pair of fighters. "I hope, in all honest heavens, that you are prepared." After a moment of looking at his opponent, spotting every bit of metal on the man's body, Humbra began to walk towards Azmaru.

Azmaru grinned even more. His eyes simple glanced at the man. As he stared at Humbra's eyes he pivoted his left foot to the right, spinning to the right and dragging his right foot across the ground. He used the momentum to carry around his right foot. As he did this the sand at his feet began to be blasted away from him. A track of blown away sand could be seen heading towards Humbra.

Azmaru's body went low, as his right foot tapped the ground. He pivoted his (right) foot so that he was facing the man. He charged forward, his own body only a few feet from the 'wave' of air heading towards humbra. Blood began to drip from his left hand, and the skin on his palm began to jut out, and a small red and white spike could be seen coming from his palm. He held it out, aiming it for the mans sternam (mid-chest)

Dear reader, if you dare to remember, a certain amount of "metal-on-metal rasping" sounds came off of Humbra moments before Azmaru's frontal assault. The sound stopped the second Azmaru burst into motion. Whilst his eyes locked on Azmaru, a thick layer of metal was created beneath the man's cloak- completely hidden from his opponent's vision. Still, though, with the power of Azmaru's strike, the cloak was blow clear off the man's sturdy frame to reveal the thick armor.

The wire, which had come from rolls on his belt, had swurved and cornered around every angle of the man's body. His whole chest area was one large interwoven chestplate of uneven twisting wire. Each layer of wire was stiff and rigid to the extreme- allowing it to take the frontal damage that Azmaru had tried to inflict. Humbra, in the simplest terms, had become a tank that could, and had, withstood Azmaru's blowing wind along with the stabbing bone strike. Azmaru would be lucky if his spike didn't shatter upon collision.

Finally, as the final bits of wire swurved to cover Humbra's tanned fingertips, several strings of razor wire flew from the area that Azmaru's strike had struck. Flurrying speed, blurring with the very air, the wire would attempt to wrap around Azmaru's stabbing arm. Its razors, which were all along the destructive lines, would rip forward to also attempt to stab the human outright.

Such a forward attack, on Azmaru's part, would also leave Azmaru up for an even more destructive counter by Humbra. So, as the front end of his defense took its effect, two small beads of metal rotated around each other on Humbra's palm. A spark of electricity formed on his opened palm as two long wires -which were connected at the end- curved to the left of Azmaru. The lines blurred as the long electrifying line curved around to block the backward escape of Azmaru.

Metal was the element of defense, of weaponry- and finally the element that could lay waste to earth's wood, smother a phoenix's fire, barrel water, block thunderous winds, and redirect electricity. It is the most steadfast element in Chinese philosophy.

Azmaru's body began to turn as the bone spike released from his hand, caught in the wire. He spun once, growing bones to cover vital areas. Blood dripped down his body. Azmaru was no longer grinning. He no longer showed emotion. He grabbed a needle and pricked his skin, allowing the relaxer to enter his vains. Hopefully he could keep his body under control. This was going to be hard.

His left hand dropped down to his side. It almost seemed like it was going limp. As it hung, it began to twitch. More and more it began to speed up in moving around violently. His right hand dropped the needle, and was placed forward, aiming towards Humbra. "Metal." He said, saying it quietly. "How I hate metal."

Humbra's left palm pointed at the very near Azmaru. The fighter's eyes openly tensed from focus as he mentally -PUSHED- all the metal on Azmaru away. All the metal. From the man's metal zipper on his pants, to his possible weapons, his maybe hidden daggers, metal merchandise of all descriptions, and even the needle pointing at Humbra. Azmaru's weaponry would likely be followed by Azmaru himself, since it'd most likely be attached to his person.

"You will not surrender," he remarked, noting the passiveness of Azmaru's thunderous eyes. If the needle was indeed made of metal it would be slammed into Humbra's opponent's outstretched hand.

The sun from above glinted on Humbra's shiny armor of multiple metals and alloys. Even if the metal mental push from Humbra's focused mind worked or did not work the long electric whip in his left hand slashed forward. It twisted slightly so that it would be more of a lasso weapon than that of an actual whip.. To quickly ring itself around Azmaru's neck. Its thin glint of metal from the overhead sun shined for a split second after being set upon the other fighter.

A small 'thump thump' would be heard from Humbra's palm. It continued to hold the circling magnets that generated the electricity of his ranged weapon.

Azmaru felt a slight thud against his pants, as his zipper began to swivel around, and it blew backwards. Cutting slightly into his thigh before flying away from him. His sword on his hip wiggled at first, trying to break free from the leather clasps holding it in. It then proceded to flip up, and smack Azmaru in the face. In his pouch, which held his daggers and needles bega to shake violently, and then became punctured with daggers and needles, before the ripped out of it.

Azmaru stepped back, as the sword pulled him. He went to reach for it when he felt the needle pierce through his hand. He didn't hesistate, he ws used to this kind of pain. He dropped to the floor, being dragged by the sword, which still couldn't break the leather. Azmaru's hand reached for the leather, and with his right hand's index finger reate a sharp spike that he used to pierce the leather, which would hopefully weaken the grip. A sudden jolt ran through his body, as the sword broke from the sheathes grip.

Azmaru sighed, looking at his hand. He let the spike on his finger fall to the ground. He stared at the hole in his hand from the needle. "This...might be bad" he said. He was to far away for the whip to lasso his neck, but it caught hold of his left arm, which was still shaking violently. As the lasso attached to his arm, his arm stopped shaking, but instead it started to create blue sparks. "Nice try." He said loudly. He had been creating an electric charge in his hand. He had seen the metal, and was going to use that against Humbra, but now he had a better plan.

The electricity began to shoot forth from his hand, into the weapon. Objects can only hold so much energy, even if this weapon could hold it all the heat should have begun to melt away. Hopefully this plan would work.

The metal that Azmaru held melted after the fighter had held onto it with his electrified grasp. The counter failed to melt any wire beyond Humbra's left palm. Liquid ore spilt from the man's grip- to quickly follow the weapons that onced were attached to Azmaru. The watery and bright red metal sloshed towards Azmaru in a small burst- hopefully touching his skin. It would most probably cause severe burns and remove the average street clothes that he wore.

Humbra's eyes twitched slightly as as the lasso came back into his armor. However, to avoid shocking himself, Humbra shot the two small magnets -that had created the electric pulse of his whip- at Azmaru. The two small metal beads shot towards Azmaru's chest- to hopefully smash against the fighter's hopefully burned front area.

.. Though, as he attacked in a forward manner, the weapons that were ripped from Azmaru's clothing began to turn their edges towards their previous master. The needle's sharp edges, the dagger's razor sharp and shining points, other weapons, and even the sword pulled out of its leather sheath. Each weapon still kept low to the ground to avoid being noticed by Azmaru. Also, since they kept themselves only half an inch above the stone arena floor they remained without a single sound as they adjusted. Unless Azamru had eyes on the back of his head- he'd be in for a rude surprise the second his back became ready for a perfect flank attack.

As his hand went free he stood up, and with a slight wince he dropped down into a horse stance. As he did this a pink 'mist' began to shoot from his body.

The metal went through the mist, and hit something. A sizzling sound could be heard, along with the slightly pained breathing of Azmaru. And then the beads could be heard bouncing off of something hard. The mist began to clear, and Azmaru stood. Still in a horse stance, but most of his clothing was torn apart. White spikes could be seen protruding from almost all of his body. The bloody mist had come down ontop of him, and the spikes, and Azmaru were coated in a thin lair of blood.

Azmaru stared at Humbra. A cracking noise could be heard from low to the ground, and if looked at closely small white bolts of lighting could be seen jolting from his (ankle down) foot to the ground. His left hand began to form a fist, but as if there was something blocking the formation it stopped, and Azmaru put pressure on it even more. Infront of the hand a large ball of air could be seen forming, its color a pale yellow-white. The heating of the metal had created some steam, and the air held the water from that steam. Inside the ball a swirling grey-white smoke could be seen. The steam (aka-grey swriling smoke) began to condense in as the ball got smaller and small. As Azmaru's hand became closer to being a fist the ball condensed more.

His right hand's middle and index finger began to spin around slowly, though even with that movement the blood on his arm began to swirl around, visualizing the current of the air spinning around his fingers.

Then, when Azmaru's focus seemed to turn completely to offense with his below lightning strike and his ball of compressed vapour, the weapons that were pulled from Azmaru attacked. The weapons blurred with the air as they went straight towards the bony back of Humbra's opponent. Each single needle, every dagger, and finally a sword, aimed to go into the small divits between the long outshoots of bone so that they could enter the fleshy body of Azmaru.

As that happened wire would fly off from Humbra's toes to go toward the small lightning bolts that flew off from Azmaru's feet. The small wires then twisted upon itself to make small circuit on the sandy ground. Elecricity always follows the shortest path between two points- and this was an easy example of that fact. The summoned lightning from Azmaru twisted and coiled around the twisting frames of wire that Humbra had quickly let loos. Twisting coils of pure power twisted along the pathways, causing some of the wires to quickly melt, but the lightning was held at bay.

Humbra grinned beneath his thick mesh armor. His eyes twitched and set forth his red hot wires toward Azmaru. Each wire held what 'Azmaru put pressure' onto- the electricity and lightning of his frontal attack. The wires continued to twist and turn- then suddenly left the ground in a huge movement of slashing tangles. Then all the wires which held Azmaru's lightning flew towards the bone summoner at an even quicker pace.

Webs of wire thunderously let loose sparks from their red worn lines as they blurred with the air to fly toward Azmaru. Along with the oncoming back stabbing assualt from Azmaru's own weapons- this battle was hopefully coming to a quick close.

Azmaru went blank for a second, as he noticed something strange. The man was diverting his electricty. He quickly shook his head, and pulled his left hand backward, turning his body slightly. Azmaru stepped forward, still his torso turned to the side. He spun quickly, punching forward towards Humbra. It would seem from a logical view as a pointless move, until the ball spun around and shot forward, at the metal clad man.

Suddenly his eyes went wide, something had hit him. But not from the front "Wh-what?" He said, before stumbling forward. He felt and heard thumps against the bones on his back. He took another slightly larger step when something big hit the bones on his spine. He stood still for a moment, until he noticed the wires. Daggers and his sword littered the ground behind him. But almost all of the needles managed to sneak into his body. Azmaru took a step backwards, and then dropped back into the horse stance, his head wavering back and forth. This much blood loss was not normal, even for someone who loses blood most of the time.

The bones on his body moved around, before they shot out from his flesh. Some pulled the needles from his back out, others just shot out in random directions. The bones would hopefully meet the wires, and slow them down. Or if he was lucky stop them.

His right foot twisted around, a puddle of blood causing it to slip. Azmaru quickly regained his stature. The wires creating circuits were still connected to Humbra, and this was what he would aim for now. Azmaru placed his right foot, which was covered in blood on the wire. A sudden burst of electricty bolting through it. Again and again this sudden bursts would go into the wires. If enough energy reached the man, it might cause a magnetic reaction to the other metal, and stop the wires.

"This had better work." Azmaru said, his words slurred

Humbra smiled beneath the folds of his mesh armor. Wires leaped from his chin to cover his eyes from the oncoming blast- which smashed into him and dissapated with a large sonic boom. The collision made the man slide back along the sandy earth for three meters causing a massive amount of spouting dust from his metal clad heels. When he stopped he quickly prepared to defend against the next oncoming attack. The dust that was created by both Humbra's mommentum backwards, and Azmaru's ball itself, began to settle around the Ferrokinetic.

Unseen by Azmaru a large circular purple-pink bruise would form on Humbra's chest. The wires that hid his eyes then removed themselves to focus on the elemental using opponent.

It was bone spikes that followed the high powered ball of energy. A majority of his metal strings were knocked around, and even some of them were cut in half. But, still, they remained on their whipping frenzy towards Humbra's opponent.

A single blood-covered metal needle from Azmaru's back flew by Humbra's left ear. He ignored the small un-aimed projectile. Suddenly Humbra felt one of his strings melting, though, and he sent the melted metal at Azmaru's nearest limb- the man's right leg. As the melted metal, which was caused by Azmaru's lightning charged right foot, shot to cling around Azmaru's limb the circuit that Humbra's opponent was trying to exploit was removed.

Then two small wire meshed 'bullets' (that were used as magnets earlier for Humbra's whip) then shot up from the ground. Also, along with the two bullets, the needles, the daggers, and Azmaru's sword swung themselves to point at their owner. The metal items then shot in together towards the bleeding mess of a human. Most presumably, if the weapons entered Azmaru's wounded body, the opposing fighter would be mortally wounded.

Azmaru spun to the left, pushing his foot against the ground as the wires shot down towards his body. He continued the spin, landing about 4 feet from where he was a moment before. Both of his palms began to grow thin, sharp edged bone spikes.

Azmaru's left foot rose to his waist. His right leg went slightly bent, enough to balance on this akward pose. His right hand went out to the right, and his left to the left. He held this pose, and the sand around his foot began to become a liquid (melted glass). Azmaru dropped his foot to the ground, the toes poniting upwards. His head was tilted back, he sucked in air, his chest becoming 'large'. He held this for a moment, and then shot his head back up, and with a breath began channeling the air around the spikes. Gust of wind caused his weapons, and the bullets to shutter in the wind. Around the spikes, bloody sand and melted glass could be seen flying around rapidly, along with a powerful cyclone of air. Another, louder cracking noise could be heard from his legs. Much louder than before, and the earth could be seen giving way to this powerful blasts. The small bolts of lightning now became large bolts, crashing into the ground. He pulled his right hand back, so that is was in a punching position. The hand was still open, so the spike could be used. His left hand went out straight infront of him. More and more speed picked up in the air-currents spinning around the spikes.
