Heavenly Father, I pray that you will give your daughter courage and understanding through this rough patch in her life. Lord, she is struggling with self injury. I pray that you will give her healing. Ease her pain, her sufferings and wrap your loving arms around her. She needs you now. Help her to know that she is not alone. Lord, there are others in this world suffering just as she, but you know this most of all. Father, give her hope. Make her path clear to her. Shine out in the darkness in all of your glory. Restore her, and give her peace. Thank you Lord. Amen.
Remeber- we dont know what the future holds, but we do know who holds it! Have faith, dear! He will set things right!

Hey Annorie..i know what you mean. Not too long ago i had to go to a mental hospital while on a church retreat because a cut that i had done before the retreat had started bleeding and wouldn't stop...i had to go to the ER and then spent the next two weeks in a mental hospital...and it's been really hard. How long have you been doing it for and how do you cope? I've been clean for over 2 months! Which is really great for me because i used to do it really badly. Please lemme know how you are doing...pm me and we can talk smile

Not too long ago i had to go to a mental hospital while on a church retreat because a cut that i had done before the retreat had started bleeding and wouldn't stop...i had to go to the ER and then spent the next two weeks in a mental hospital...and it's been really hard. i will pray for you, i actually have a friend going thru the same thing, and i have been thru it too its hard but just say to yourself every time you are feeling too stressed or overwhelmed and feel the urge to cut "i can do all things through christ who strengthens me" trust me its hard but it works.

God Bless. Well, I can say cutting is a lot more common than I thought. Considering I have trouble with it. I haven't done it in a while, and it's hard. It's so hard I can't stand it sometimes. So, good luck with that. Not that I believe in luck, (God's way more awesome) but still. It's the thought that counts.

I will pray for you.
Father, please help this person to heal, not just of the wounds inflicted, but in the area where the hole is in their heart. Father, I ask that you will come and fill that hole so that they will not want to cut anymore. Lord, send them some to support them and care for them.
I thank you Lord that the person has come here and asked for prayer. We know that prayer is powerful.

I will pray for you!
My cousin had the same problem once but I think she's pretty much stopped doing it.
I can tell you really want to stop, my pastor said once that when you do something wrong and you ask God to Forgive you he will, But she said that you should tell someone about what you did. She also said that God always forgives us but sometimes we need to forgive ourselves.
