Takaho sat down at a table, and took his book out from his coat pocket, turning the pages as he bit down into his cold baguette
"What is this......cold baguettes...damn budget cuts, can't even afford cooking them" he said then tkaing it into the palm of his hand he pushed it up a bit so he could toast it, from his hand emerged a flame which he used to warm up his baguette.
"pfeh.......budget cuts"

Jodi teleports to the caf., she sees a boy at one of the tables across the room with flames in his hand. Jodi heads to the table closest to her, sets her tray of Vegitarian food on the table, and begain to eat her tofu garlic pasta.

Takaho looked uo over his book, and turned up his nose
Oh my god.....that girl.....she's eating garlic pasta, does she have no dignity? Man that stinks....oh god i can't stand that
Takaho started to sway as though the garlic smell was starting to kill him, then he shook his head and smiled at the girl opposite him.

after I finished my pasta. I got up to put the tray in the sink, looked around, and teleported back to my dorm

Alex walked into the cafe and went back into the kitchen she looked around and called out softly. "Mr.Gluten?" she called. She hated him, but she had to learn to cook if she wanted to get away from this school. She wanted to find Jack, she didn't know where he was...but she needed to see him, some how, she felt it would make her feel better on this terrible day. "Mr.Gluten?" when he didn't answer and he wasn't any where to be found, so she left and went to find her next class, math..."Damn, not her again...oh well" and she left the cafe and went to math.

It was only moments after Alex left that Jack entered the cafeteria, his face a mask of dazed boredom from yet another morning of the most boring classes he'd ever had the nightmare of taking. It was only the second day of school and already he was wishing the classes were...harder?
What was this stupid school doing to him? If he'd been any sort of a nerd at his old public school, at least it hadn't been so obvious. But here he was, wishing his classes were harder.
He almost cried when he saw what they were serving. Disgusting. He decided he'd rather starve, but went through the line anyway, for lack of something better to do. Next was Drama. At least that was something to look forward to. He still didn't know what to expect, though. He'd missed both lunch and Drama yesterday, trying to save Alex's life. A delighted shiver ran down his back as he remembered where that had led.
Taking his tray of inedible mush, he sat down at an empty table. A lot of the tables were empty. It seemed that most of the kids were too smart to eat the cafeteria's 'food'.
At least he hadn't run into..what was his name, Mitch? He could only expect hatred from him, after shocking him the way he had before. He could only hope that Mitch hadn't been able to identify him. Hopefully he hadn't tattled on him to Mr. Nightshade. The last thing he needed was to be on the demon principle's hitlist.

Alex had finnished wandering the halls and heard her stomach growl, she decided to take her chances with the cafe's food for a change. If she got sick, it was Mr.Gluten's falt, not her own. She walked in to the cafe, happy to see Jack there. She ran to him in line and tapped his shoulder.
"Hi!" she said happily, her day was joyful once more, she was with Jack again. Her mind flashed back to the day before and her heart started to throb once more. "How was your day so far?"

Jack had returned to the line for a fork so that he could better poke at his 'food'. He could tell the moment Alex walked into the room, though he didn't know exactly what it was that had changed. He felt a siver run down his spine, which was confirmed only moments later by Alex tapping him on the shoulder.
"Hi!" she cried with girlish happiness as he spun around, her cheeks flushed an excited pink. She looked so cute...
"This school's going to kill me," he complained, heart speeding up, twisting his face into mock agony. "The classes are so boring. And now the food isn't even edible!" He cried with over-dramatic outrage, the corner of his mouth curling into a smile as his inner actor took the stage.

Alex saw the little half smile Jack hid in his words. She laughed. "You'll get used to it...don't forget, i went to this school since preschool!" she looked at him with the same face of Mock agony. "Really, a tough man like you could make it through HighSchool am i correct?" she laughed a little at her own joke, hoping he caught it and didn't take offence. "Well, what is your schedual? Are you in any of my classes?" she asked. She picked up a tray of 'food' and payed for it. "Let me sit with you," Her smile felt as if is went from ear to ear, she was that glad to see him. Who knew any one could have this effect on her.

"Really, a tough man like you could make it through HighSchool am I correct?" she asked, laughing. He grinned, heart thudding in his chest.
"I've only got Drama left, Princess, then I'm done. Us Tough Men geniuses get out of school early." he smiled his crooked, charming smile as they walked away from the line. "I would be honored if you would sit with me." he said regally, making a sweeping bow once they approached the little empty booth. "After you?"

"Dont mind if I do..." Alex said. She sat down and looked at her plate. It said Beef and Fries...but it looked more like sloppy joe...well hey at least is smelled good. She cautiously took a fork full of the stuff and tried it. She sighed. It actualy tasted good this time. "It is safe." she said with a sigh, and she ate her fill. She shook her head as she ate.
"Gosh Jack, i am so jealous...why do you get to leave early to dorms then i do...i am pretty smart! It's like the teachers-" she stopped to hit the table lightly and sarcasticly. "Don't like me at all!" She could actualy think now, haveing food in her stomach helped at that. She was glad she ate. It was a bad habit of hers to go with out lunch or breakfast.
"I moved into my dorm today...i have two room mates...one happens to be my sister." she said knowingly. "I checked it."

He watched her with a look of reverant awe as she actually ate the slop. He had to hand it to her; she was pretty darn brave. Either that or pretty darn desperate. She was practically inhaling the food, as though she'd never eaten before. He couldn't help but find it a little attractive that she didn't seem at all self-conscious while she ate, unlike so many other girls.
"I moved into my dorm today...i have two room mates...one happens to be my sister." she said knowingly. "I checked it."
"The sister?" He asked, his eyebrows rising. He lowered his voice. "Have you...met her, yet?"

Alex nodded as she took a nother fork full of slop to her lips. "No i havn't met her yet... I want to thought. Every time i go to meet her, the teacher said she had already left...I am going to corner her in some day..." she said jokingly. "I want to know...how mom and dad are." her voice softened slightly as she ate the next fork of food.
There was a short silence that only the clanking of forks filled. She looked at her watch. "Ug! Alchemy again...You and not having any more classes! You goose!" she smirked. She was half done with her food when she drank some of her water. "Did you move into your dorm yet?"
(Do you need a dorm partner? Takaho does. Do you mind being his dorm roommate?)

Jodi teleports in to the cafe, and walks up to the lunch line. "lets see what they have today." looks at the menu and sees it says beef and fries. Jodi scrunches up her nose and teleports away to somewhere with better food. When Jodi teleports back she has sushi and an eggroll in hand. looking around jodi sees Alex and some boy sitting at a table eatting. Jodi thinks 'they look happy. I'll leave them alone.' looking around Jodi finds an empty table to her left and sets down, pulls out her book 'Blood and chocolate" and begin to read while she eats.
