Does any one know how old the people on inuyasha are but kagome cause shes like 15.i wa'n know how old they are!Are they all 15, is Inuyasha really old but looks 15?What do you people think?I say they're all 15(not counting Inuyasha being asleep for 50 years.)

Inuyasha was actually been asleep for about 200 yrs, but bypass that and I think Inuyasha is actually 18. Miroku reminds me of like a 25 year old pervert And I don't imagine that any of them are any older than that. I think Sango is around Miroku's age(Both of them act older than both Inuyasha and Kagome) and Kagome is 15 or so. I don't know about anyone else.

InuYasha is 200yrs. old that is if you count the years he was on the tree or then he is 150yrs. Actually he is 17yrs. depending on how you look at it. Sango is around 16yrs. Miroku is 18yrs. Shippo is 7yrs. For Inuyasha I would go with seventeen(not counting the tree) becaus ethere have been many people who say this and that.

He was sleep for 50 years. And I am guessing he was in his early 20's before the sleep, so that would make him in his 70's. Well I don't think demons age like humans do.

Inuyasha wasn't on the tree for 200 years--if he were, Kaede would not still be alive. Kaede appears to be about 60 now and 10 when Kikyo died and Inuyasha became fastened to the tree. Thus, he was there for 50 years (a fact supported by many sources). I think demons have staggered aging cycles--they age like humans until they reach 15, at which point they slow down. I say this because I once watched a scene in which Inuyasha, appearing to be about Shippo's age (7), runs to his mother, crying. She appeared to be only slightly older than she was when Inuyasha was born (in one of the movies), so I'm guessing she was 17 when she gave birth to him and 24 in that scene. At this time, in the same movie, Sesshomaru appeared to be about the age Inuyasha appears to be--17. He now appears to be about 25. I found this in a google search: Absolute Anime There is some controversy about how old InuYasha is. First off, it is known that he was pinned to the tree for 50 years, but he was basically in suspended animation for this time. So any age given should indicate whether or not that 50 years is included, otherwise it could be unclear and cause even more confusion that already exists. Now, for how old he actually is. Apparently, in an issue of the magazine Anime Insider, it was stated that InuYasha was 68 years old including the time he was sealed away, so that would make him 18 years old (plus 50 years in stasis). And then in the third movie it apparently states that InuYasha's dad, InuTaisho, died 200 years ago on the day InuYasha was born (which includes the time he was pinned to the tree), which would make him about 200 years old, or 150 years old plus 50 years pinned to the tree. There is also a rumor that Rumiko Takahashi, creator of InuYasha, had said InuYasha was 16 years old, and another rumor that she said he was 17 years old. I haven't found anywhere or anybody to confirm this, but even if it is true, she could have been referring to his mental age, and not his physical age. Since he's half demon, he most likely ages differently that humans. Then someone also mentioned that an all-exclusive member's newsletter from Takahashi's anime studio listed InuYasha as being 252 years old. Another individual, who also receives an official members-only newsletter from Takahashi, says that InuYasha's age is listed as being 17 years old, and 250 in demon years. This doesn't make much sense to me, and I think it's actually supposed to be the other way around, with him living 250 human years but physically being the age of a 17 year old boy. Like dog years. A dog who has lived for 4 human years would be 29 in dog years, meaning it would be equivent in age to a 29 year old human. Make sense? And we still don't know if that age includes the time he was pinned to the tree. So now you can see why there is so much controvery on the subject. I think I would have to go with what's stated in the third movie, because something being specified in the actual anime should take precendence over any other official publications, such as website, newsletters, and magazines, except when the offical publication specifically addresses a statement that's made in the anime. So InuYasha's age is 200 years old including the time pinned to the tree, or 150 years old not including the time pinned to the tree. Estimates of demon's ages: Inuyasha: 200, appears about 17. Sesshomaru: Absolute Anime says he is 500, but appears about 25. Shippo: appears about 7, and, according to my theory, is also 7 years old. Naraku: A little over 50 years old, since Onigumo transformed a little before Inuyasha became pinned to the tree. Kagura: Less than 1 year old, appears about 17* Kanna: Less than 1 year old, appears about 9, but is actually older than Kagura, since she was created first* (*I believe than incarnations are not subject to the normal laws of demon aging. They spring out of their creator in their permanent form. The one exception would be Hakudoshi) Human ages: Kagome: 15 Sango: 18 Miroku: 22 Kaede: 60 Rin: 9 Kohaku: 12 heart ntropi heart

Wow.. that was a LONG explanation. I personally think that since Demon's obviously age differently than humans... Inuyasha would be around 250 years old. (that's an estimate). I believe it was Kagome's 15th birthday when she fell into the well. So they're journey is about a year to 2 years long I would say. So by the end.. I would say Everyone is this age:
Inuyasha: 250's 260's (looks about 16 or 17)
Kagome: 16 or 17
Sango: 18 or 19
Miroku: 19 or 20 (maybe 21...)
Shippo: 9ish...
and I'm not going to do any more.. because yea.. don't really feel like naming all the characters and their ages... anyways.. there you go! my opinion on this issue!

Inuyasha - 15 (with a notation that this is his age in relation to his appearance and mindset)
Kagome - 15
Miroku - 18
Sango - 16
Kohaku - 11
Shippou - 7 (again with the notation)
Kikyou - 18 (at time of death)
Kouga- 15 (notation)
Sesshoumaru - 19 (notation)
Naraku - 23 (notation)
Kagura - 17 (notation)
Kanna - 10 (notation)
Bankotsu - 17 (at time of death)
Jakotsu - 20 (at time of death)
Renkotsu - 24 (at time of death)
Suikotsu - 26 (at time of death)

I think Inuyasha looks around 15 or 16 in human years. You can't really tell. But it keep me interested to see how old he really is.

inuyasha was 17 when he was fastened to the tree. and he was on the tree for 50 years. it's a fact that all the sights and the show states many times.

i would say that inuyasha was 17 or 18 when he was pinned to the tree,kagome 15,sango looks like she's in her early 20's and miroku same thing as sango and shippo acts like he's 7
