Mr.Notewearth sat down at his desk and started to take rule. When he got to Jodi's name she said here, but she heard him say "I guess Jodi Barnes's not here." She saw him mark the rule call that I wasn't there. Jodi raised her hand. She sat there for a good 5 mins. when he was done with rule he got up and started about what they would be going over this year. Jodi gave up and put her hand down and started taking notes on what she'll have to learn threw out the year. When the bell rang, and the bell rang. The teacher handed out papers to everyone, and yet again Jodi was passed up. Jodi turned around to ask the person behind her what was on the paper, but almost everyone has left. Getting all her things, and teleported back to the hall."

Jack was late. He couldn't help it! Alex had been in trouble. Again. Where would she be without him to step in and save her sorry life every single stupid day?
"Are you in the right class? I don't believe I recognize you." The teacher mused.
"Yes, sir," Jack replied tiredly. "I wasn't able to attend yesterday."
The Drama teacher - the single most important teacher to have a good impression with - raised an eyebrow. "So you were skipping my class?"
Only days ago, Jack would have been horrified that a teacher could ever have assumed that he would skip. Especially an elective! Who in their right mind skipped an elective?
But he had. He suddenly felt very, very dirty. He had always been one of the good kids! One of the most respected kids in the school! He'd been on the student council, he'd been Treasurer and resident Macho-Man of the Drama Club, he'd been an all-"A" student in the top honors classes. Everywhere he went, people had known his name, and respected it. Now he was just like every other Junior, skipping classes for any little reason he deemed worthy. He had no friends, here, no crowd. The only two people who knew him in this whole school were the two that kept getting him in trouble; Mitch and Alex. A teacher had never been mad at him, before. This school was destroying him.
"Yes, sir," he admitted, his voice thick with shame.
Mr. Notewearthy tssked at the sorry creature who thought he'd get it easy in his class, and directed him to an empty seat in the back of the classroom. "I never want to hear about you skipping my class again, sir."
Jack hated sitting in the back of the class. But he knew better than to argue. If he had been here the first day, he would have gotten a better seat. At least he hadn't been kicked out. Not that it would have done him any harm other than giving him more freetime. He sure as the sky didn't need this credit. He already had it four times over.
Jack slumped into his desk in a state of numb misery. How could he have let Alex get to him? How could he have given in to that temptation? How could he have been so stupid? Next time, he'd do better. Next time he'd resist her.

Jodi teleported to Drama and took her seat while she waited for class to start. Pulling out her Diary, and began to write.
