Black paws hit the ground of the prides lands and a sudden feeling surged through the adolescent. It was as if he was home again, though he knew he couldn't stay here. It was something he wished to change he wanted to stay here but he knew he never would.
His redish brown eyes scanned the lands, soon remembering his way around. He made sure to avoid as many lions as possible as he made his way towards the rock he had been on when he had seen Ari for the first time, so close to their den. He hoped Asi was there, he was the reason he had returned. He needed advice from the only lion who had seemed to care for him.
He shook his growing mane and sniffed at the air. He made a small calling sound hoping that if anyone was near by they would hear it. He needed to find the king. It was important to the changed lion.

Asi yawned as he moved out of the den, he was about to begin his prowl around the boarders when he caught a famaliar scent on the wind. He grunted and his brows raised, he began to head in that direction instead. This was a scent he could not forget, the male had been like a son to him after all. His tail flicked lightly and his ears twitched, after a few feet or so the other came into his sight. "Oy, wha' yeh be doin'ere?" He called, his words friendly and a big grin growing across his maw.
The younger was looking older, and the older (asi himself) was looking even more old.

The black males maw spread into a smile, this was something he had been waiting for. "Ashi! Or maybe I should call you Asi now." He smiled and trotted upto the mocha male, rubbing his head against him. He loved Asi like a son would a father.
"How ya been? Your looking a bit old now!" He smiled cheekily, his tail moving behind him slowly. He was happy to be home, shame it would be such a short stay.

Asi was quite shocked at just how much Harabu had grown. "Yeh look big yerself." He chuckled lightly, tail flicking back and forth as he pulled himself to his paws. He was suprised how well Harabu could speak, but Asi thought it was probably because of his travels.
" 'ave yeh been 'avin' a good time aboot the world?" He raised his brows lightly.

Harabu flicked his tail and looked a little saddened. "They haven't been great. Came across this beast of a lion, Nyek, he takes cubs for slaves, steals them from families. I wouldn't want that to come of you Asi, I came to tel you of his pride." His brown eyes softened and smiled, "I also, need... to, erm, ask you something, because... You are like a father to me and... well.. yeah.." He tilted his head slightly and looked kind of nervous.

His eyes hardened. Nyek, the name sounded famaliar. He couldn't put a paw on where he'd heard it before though, but he might learn once again that Rahima had been the beast of a lion's mother. "Well iffin I come across 'im or 'is pride I be willin' ter share a lil' etiquet an' wha'no. b*****d, stealin' cubs an' all." Asi's ears had pressed against his skull, his fluffy mane hiding them.
His head tilted as Harabu began to ask to ask a question. "Aye, go a'ead, wha' do yeh need 'Arabu?"

He looked at Asi, suddenly feeling a little shy and embarresed, "How did you know when you loved Ari?" He was confused about his own feelings and that question probably gave it away that he had someone on his mind, but he was asking the question, he only wanted an answer.

Asi blinked and looked a little taken aback. When did he know he loved Ari? He wasn't quite sure, he'd started off 'hating' Ari. Maybe that was the key though, maybe he'd in truth loved her from the beginning. "I think thurr jus be a time when yeh know.. tha' it be the lioness fer yeh. Tha' yeh wan' to spend the res'ef yer life with 'er.. yeh'd give yer own life ter make 'ers be'er. Yeh ge' it?"

Harabu shook his head. "She a tag along.. she is annoying.. I hate her, I do.. Im sure I do.. but yet.. gah... she is driving my head insane!" He let out a snarl as he finished his sentence, he then collapsed and sighed. "I dunno what to do. Girls confuse me."

Asi smiled just slightly, he knew it might get Harabu upset if he laughed at his perdiciment. Ari had never followed Asi around, and Asi certainly never followed her around, but it always seemed like one or the other. They always ran into each other, as if the great kings of the past were trying to tell them something. At least it was finally figured out that they both wanted each other.
"Well wha' she be sayin' tha' go'yer tail inna knot?" He raised his brows questioningly.

His redish brown eyes looked at Asi and then the ground. "She don't say nothing, nothing just followes and plays and listens and garh..." He let out a small makings of a roar which he didn't complete.
Why was life so confusing?

He blinked, head tilting. A mute lioness? "'ave yeh asked 'er ter talk?" He asked slowly, thinking maybe that might have been the problem. "Or can she no' talk at'all?" Like his deaf daughter, who couldn't hear sounds so she could not mimic them properly.

He sighed, "No she can talk and will when spoken to, but thats it. Cant have a conversation with her, its impossible!" He sighed and loked to the sky, then the ground and then at Asi. "I don't know what to do..."
