I mean, really.
I've seen some of you use terms like "n00b".
The use of the word n00b should be FORBIDDEN here.
Only Gaians and 12-year olds (same thing, I know) say crap like that.
Also, I missed out on the picket sign thing because I only come here once every few weeks now.
So, one of you give me one for free.
Anti-Gambino is more controversial, so I want that.
P.S.
I'd also like a free briefcase.

And I'm not upset over the use of the word, I'm upset at the lameness of the "community" in general.Even coming to Gaia to complain about it isn't really fun anymore.

This guild was fun but we've already made fun of everything.Whats the point anyway? I joined because this guild has people that you can actually have a conversation with.

Well, nobody's asking you, or anyone else for that matter, to stay. I mean, if it pains you so much then start yer own forum or visit one that isn't as cranky. neutral
We have threads dedicated to other things here, and you're welcome to set up all KINDS of threads in AYGGS. Start a bunch, if you wish, and add more variety so we don't have to sit around like crumudgens talking about the kids these days and their woo-wear or whatever.

Seriously.
You can't expect someone who is going to be that goddamned uptight about the use of one word as a punctuation to be accepting enough of the people in this guild to overlook any particular transgression.
Or can you?
On the other hand, maybe that is exactly the attitude that is being fostered in this kind of intolerant atmosphere? It is possible that perhaps under the severe strain of such fallow atmosphere we are fostering and raising a new type of intolerant bigot that traipses about the forum-scape looking for the slightest mishap, or the smallest infraction, or possibly the most insignificant of leanings towards insurrection of the English language in order to vent and scream at people in some attempt to perform not as a blow-hard but as a virtual polizei safeguarding the minds of the children that read this forum.
I submit that neither is the case, and instead the cogent posit to be that the original poster is simply being a gestapo forum nazi; one who is inclined to believe that his supposed righteous indignation is enough to bring down the hammer of his wrath to point out that it is his superior view that supercedes the lowly amateurish banter that exists in this most sacred of holy grounds where the presumptuous literati of this forum gather is collectively abhor "the typical Gaian" and sigh with lackadaisical disdain at the festering state of what is mostly discorporeal.
However this is not meant to be some kind of disregard for the original poster's complaint, as it is pointedly clear that while the adage is that "to destroy monsters, one must become one," this is merely a figurative expression and not one to be taken literally. Shame on the people that believe that this blatant subversion of proper syntax and spelling is acceptable or even passable as usable means of communication. The powers that be created and implemented proper linguistic rules so that clear and precise exchange of ideas and ideologies could be carried out with due ******** the lot of you.
