I haven't taken French since grammar school. But I am re-taking it so I'll probably end up grabbing it when I can understand enough. XD

I have the book in French! But I haven't read it yet...only some snippets like the projection scene (*heartheart*).
Yeah, the passé simple is holding us all back.

Nope. I'm not fluent in French, so I wouldn't understand much of it. However, if I came across it, I would totally buy it and attempt to read it.

Passe simple is hard for French students? I had no idea >.> ... I thought it was the subjonctif that killed people. I HATE THAT TENSE, It'S STUPID! gonk

I think that the passé simple is one of the last tenses they teach people... I didn't actually learn it... which probably explains why I haven't read many French books.

I only know Spanish...though Spanish and French are very similar in some ways.
