Today a man went to a zoo somewhere in the U.S. or Canada, and lowered himself into a lion pit.
"If God exists, He'll save me!" The man yelled.
A lioness lunged at him and severed an artery in his neck.
He died shortly after.
True story.
What should I be thinking about this besides:
"What a damn fool" ?
Because that's all I'm getting.

I think that the guy was mad at the world and wanted people to question their faith... He may have also simply been a very sad lost soul.

thou shalt not put the LORD thy God to the test.
Why should God save him? It may be cruel to say this but He does not truly believe God WILL save him. He is questioning God's existence with his life on the line. When situations like that do arise, you need to know about God previously. True, some people will meet God in these life-threatening situations, but not ones that they themselves willingly have gone into; at least with full knowledge of their actions and the dire consequences that will come afterwards.
I believe he WAS in full knowledge of the consequences and in a world without a God, well, I wouldn't wish to live there either.

hat raly just anoys me, when there are people out there willing to die to make a mockery of us in the eyes of our enemies(wheter they know it or not) anyone who hears this story and dosn't know God is only going to intensify that belief because God did not help that man. F**king moron
