Any ideas on what it might look like and what it might be about? such as where in the suikoden world it will take place. What runes will it be based around? will any past characters be in it? Will persmega(sorry about spelling....never can remember his name correctly) and Yuber be back? One big question I have been thinking about, will they make it on the ps2 and the PSP?
my thoughts are that they might bring Yuder and Persmeger(Sp?..) back. theres no telling which runes, and it would be sweet if they made it on both psp and ps2.

I would love to see Tir mcdouhl(sp?) from the first one somewhere in the fith. It would be pretty cool, but weird. also like to see some new true runes that we haven't seen and used in the first 4.

I also want the Queendom if Falena to be in too. I love the sound of the name and the description. I heard it was the queendom where deadly assassins harbored. They would follow their prey for the rest of their life. whee I find that very cool.

I don't mean to sound dumb, but I don't remember hearing anything about Queendom if Falena gonk if it was mentioned in the second, thats why becuase I never got a chance to play that one >.>

Spike Starwind I don't mean to sound dumb, but I don't remember hearing anything about Queendom if Falena gonk if it was mentioned in the second, thats why becuase I never got a chance to play that one >.> Something like that. It's found out by Richmond as one of Georg's secrets. Apparently, he murdered the Queen of Falena and fled. Assassins are currently hunting him down.

(stolen from SARS) Queendom of FalenaFalena is a nation that is traditionally ruled by a queen. Falena is located far east of Dunan, across a vast ocean on a seperate landmass. It is said that slavery is prevalent in Falena, and slaves are known to be forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas as entertainment for its citizens. Falena is also known for the Queen's Assassins, which follow their prey to the end of the earth, and also for the Queen's Knights. Georg Prime is known to have been a member of the Queen's Knights, but he is also known to have murdered the Queen. A Sindar ruin exists in this country, and a tribal group exists in the country's north, which worships the "crimson bird."

but yeah thanks, any ones elses thoughts about the hopefully up coming new suikoden?

I would love to see more on Ted, in between Suikoden IV and I...I mean it's like 150 years from IV to I right? (If not then I'm incredibly stupid! gonk ) A lot can happen in that time...so I hope the next came is set there, and not so much after III...I mean that can wait, I would rather see what happened before it all. 3nodding

Honestly, I don't care much what it's about. As long as it's in the Suikoden world, and is well made. Not that 4 didn't have its good points, but it just felt alittle too rushed, or different perhaps. I'd like to see a more of a back to their roots movement to it. If that makes any sense.

Just thinking about it, I'd like another Suikoden made like III...in the sense that you got to see the story through different character perspectives...however I would rather not have the story vary so much like with Suikoden III, in the sense that you could choose who becomes the new Flame Champion and what not. sweatdrop That way there aren't more than one possibility in the main story line like there was with III...while it was a good concept...it makes it hard to go by, cause then some players have different story lines then others, so if Hugo, Chris, and Geddoe were to appear in another Suikoden game, Konami would have to decide who has what True Rune...which is guaranteed to be different than some players opinions....just like the manga... sweatdrop

I've probably mentioned this in numerous threads (Everyone: Stop talking about the same thing already! Idiot! stare ), but I'll just repeat myself anyway. blaugh
I have huge hopes for Harmonia to be the main focus of the next game, considering that the role of Harmonia has been gradually increasing throughout the games (save for Suiko IV, I think). It would be interesting if we could play using Hikusaak or something (when he overthrows Aronia to form the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia), but other than that, it's highly improbable for any main characters to carry out any form of rebellion against Harmonia. No one can deny the fact that Harmonia is, in fact, a major domo in the world of Suikoden.
I would also like more info regarding the Nameless Lands, and yes, also about the Queendom of Falena. Other than what was revealed by Konami, there is virtually no knowledge about the nation itself.
