It had been a long journey and at last she was nearlly home. the borders of the coalition lands were almost in view. Yet, she stopped. Crawling beneath the shade of a low hanging tree she rested her perfect blue eyes gazing out over the horizon. She sighed softly. Her pilgramage hadn't done her much good though she had met alot of cheetahs on the way. Those eprfect baby blue eyes watched the shimmering distance with a touch of unhappyness in them. What should she do? She had no wont to continue her treck in to the world, she had no wish to not return to the coalition lands yet her heart was hevay in her chest. She needed soemthing she just, couldn't put her claw on it.
Resting ehr chin upon her claws the smalla nd slender female closed her blue orbs to the world. She truely didn't know what to do. Going back wasn't the answer, not yet any way, but what should she do?

Korou's longer legs carried him like a blur over the ground beneath his silky black and white dotted paws. While he had the most incredible limp, the young cheetah had found a way to hunt, run, and sprint without hurting his leg at all. While it looked strange because his left shoulder nearly touched the ground as he ran, the cub could almost outrun his mother now, almost being the main word there.
Yet as he ran, something caught the small juvenile's nose, something that he hadn't smelled in a good long time. Stopping on his hind legs, Korou stood up as high as he could on them, his front legs curled into his chest as he used his tail for balance. Yet he couldn't see where the smell was coming from.
"I need more height... yeah." With that, the cheetah pounced forward and scaled the tree in front of him without a noise. Shimmying out onto a treebranch, he looked all around, not noticing that his claws were slipping on the tree a bit. The only moment that he noticed was a few seconds before he plummeted to the ground below and landed on his back, on the back of a cheetah he'd met some time ago.
"Colche?"

Colche to say the least was surprised at being dropped upon by a something. Of course surprise usually led to fear and fear in all it's glory to a shock reaction of beign relaxed one minuite to up on your claws in a heart beat. Her tongue lolled out as she looked at the male whom was now on the ground as she had moved rather swiftly though she suddenly felt the ache of a bruise forming where he had landed upon her back.
Slowly it dawned upon the slender femme though that she knew this cheetah, her panting stopped and her ears flickered upwards as she smiled jovially "Korou?" she puurred her nose touching the little male as if in dissabeleif "My you've grown" she whispers a smile playing on her delecate maw as she licked the little males ears. It was partially forgivness for dropping on her but the rest was a greeting. "I'm so happy to see you it has been a long time" She puurrs her tail swaying slowly behind her her ears twitching in a very pleased manner.
"My you've grown" she whispered at ast, he had indeed grown in to quite the handsome young creature and she couldn't help but smile at him. He would be a very good looking rogue when he grew up.

Korou let a smile cross over his muzzle, he couldn't help it. She had complimented him so. At her licking he licked her back and couldn't help but smile cheezily. "It's been a long time since I've seen you too. I'm so glad we caught up again." Korou smiled more broadly to show his enthusiasm, letting his eyes close happily as he did so to show how happy he really was.
"I'm sorry about the fall, I'm still learning to work this leg." He laughed and held up his gimpy left leg with it's large scar and white skin. Mostly the fur had started to grow over it again, but that didn't keep the fur on the scar from not coming back. He knew it wouldn't, but deep in his heart Korou didn't want anyone to see how hurt he really was.
Sighing he looked up at the larger cheetah and leaned his head to the side. "So how goes life with you? Are you still as skiddish as me?" He laughed a little and shook his head.

Colche smiled. She was very glad to see the young male. He really was quite the handsoem boy now he had grown up some. Smiling softly she listened to his words, glancing at his leg. "I'm glad you are learning to use it korou"She whispers. "I met a cheetah not so long ago whom could not even see. truely he made me count my blessings" She sighed softly thinking of Dosari. He was such a sweet male it was a shame the hand the gods dealt him.
"I have been wandering around Korou" She smiles and laughs "I'm afraid my lust to roam needed to be quenched though I beleive I will return home soon enough" she puurrs. "I met a lion. he, well he didn't kill em on sight, it has opened my eyes" She shook her head a bit. Being so frightened of lions was rediculous, being cautious around them was fine but frightened, she wouldn't do it any longer.
"And you korou?have things perked up with age?" she asks her soft blue eyes ever curious.

"Not all lions are bad, I actually found that out myself with my sister. It's interesting having one like that. But I left. Right now I'm staying with another cheetah named Chopi. She's really nice, I like her a lot. So I guess you could say that things have picked up, health and all." Korou told her, faintly wishing that he could tell her that slowly he was using the use of his other eye as well. But he wouldn't, she would only worry about him like all of the others.
Korou hated to make his friends worry.
"So wandering eh? What have you seen?" The smaller cheetah wrapped his long tail around his hind legs as he sat down and smiled at her. The little juvenile was a youngster at heart, but at the same time he was a little mature still.

Colche smiled at the youngster stretching out her claws "many things korou but I'm afraid I have not found what i am loking for" she laughed quietly "I wish i knew what it was that kept my paws a wandering but I'm unsure." she laughed, this youngster he was so mature he should be playing chewing things making a mokery out of bugs, instead he sat tall as an adult would.
"I'm glad you have a friend to stay with korou, make sure you come and see me again when I return to the coalition lands though. I have been wondering how you were fareing." She was glad that his fore leg was feeling better but she couldn't help but feel he wasn't telling her the whole truth about his health. Still, she wouldn't push him it wasn't her place.

"Do you even know what it is that you're looking for? Maybe I could help you." Korou said slowly, his head leaning to the side in a cub-like fashion. His friend was talking in circles and nonsense, but he really did want to help her. She was so nice to him both times that he'd met her. Though now he'd grown up a bit more, he still felt the need to walk up to her and rub against her legs with a purr.
"Yes. She's very nice, I miss my brother and my mother, but she's really very nice." Korou grinned sheepishly. He felt a little like a child when he said that he missed his mother. But then he supposed everything missed it's mother at one point. Even the moon missed it's mother the sun and attempted to race across the sky to see her every day, but only got close on a rare occasion.
So Korou knew that it wasn't entirely that bad.

Colche smiled gently at the youngster. "I will find it eventually I have faith" Faith in what exactly she wa suncertain but it was faith none the less. She knew that one day she would wlak back in tot he coalition lands with the knowlege that she had found exactly what she was looking for. If onl;y she knew what exactly that was.
Sighing gently she stood and grabbed the youngster in her paws quite suddenly with a playful laugh she cleaned at his ears "well this girl needs to start cleaning your ears properly! They are full of dust!" she smiles rubbing her cheek against Korou's gently "do not worry about me Korou. I'm a big girl with a wonderlust the coalition lands will always be my home"

The cub couldn't help but squeak as he was picked up and had his ears thoroughly cleaned by the larger females sand-papery tongue. It tickled. A giggle erupted from his muzzle and he clapped both paws over it in a vain attempt to keep her from hearing him be so cub-like.
"I hop you're okay. Faith is the best thing to have when you search for as long as you must have been. You should go back to the Coalition for a little bit at least. I'm sure all of your friends miss you there." the cheetah told her, blinking rapidly to clear the film that had settled over his good eye. This was getting to be a pain. He almost wished he would just lose his vision completely already and be done with it.

Colche smiled gently looking behind her. "I think i will return soon enough" she whispers. "It will be okay" Smiling gently at the youngster she gave a gentle puurr and continued to groom his furry features. "you need to tell your lady friend to start taking care of your fur!" she quips a smile on her pretty maw as she grooms away the last of the dirt on his fur. "it's okay to laugh" she whispers to him nuzzling his cheek with a motherly care "you should laugh one so young should not bear the weight of thwe world upon his shoulders"

Korou laughed suddenly and closed his eyes as he doubled over into her licking. He was just fine with the whole licking thing, perfectly fine with it in fact. It was just what she said. He couldn't have carried anything on his shoulders, as weak as they happened to be. Shaking his head, the now healthy but not juvenile sat down and gazed up at his friend with his bi-colored eyes and a wide grin.
He had to admit, he hadn't laughed or smiled like this in a long time. "That's good. You shouldn't be far from those that love you." Korou told her in a wise voice, his eyes closed and a smile playing across his muzzle.

Colche smiled pulling the little male close to her body she gave a little sigh. She missed grooming cubs. "Will you rest for a spell before you go on your way and i go on mine?" she smiled lightly her perfect blue eyes glistening softly. She missed Korou and she had a feeling he wasn't telling her the entire truth but she wouldn't push it. "so your lady friend whats her name hmm?" She felt like a mother questioning her own son about his relations. How starnge, it made her smile.

Korou smiled up at Colche and snuggled into her chest with a loud purr. Somehow she felt like what a mother should feel like, all warm and fluffy and loving. He'd missed being groomed all those times, in fact most of his young life he hadn't gotten groomed at all. So he supposed anything was better than nothing in the end. But it was moments like these that made him the most happy.
"Of course I'll stay here. And her name is Chopi. She's not like my mother exactly, in fact I get that feeling more from you than from her. When I'm wit her I get some other feelings. I don't know what they are." Korou explained to her, it felt weird to tell her this, seeing as how he was so shy normally, but she did feel like she was his mother.

Colche smiled softly. He was a cub still as much as he wanted to be big and strong an adult, he was still a cub and a handsome one at that. he would no doubt grow up young and strong. She pondered whom this 'Chopi' might be a girlfriend perhaps? She chickled siilently her little friend was certainly growing up fast. Grooming over his ears one more time she pushed the youngster gently so that he would lay down betwen her front legs her gentle blue eyes smiling softly.
"I would like to meet this Chopi" she whispers her dusty blue eyes resting dreamily on the young male. "I'm sure to have caught your attention so she must be very beautiful." She smiled a knowing little grin on her maw. Had her Korou found himself a girlfriend? He would make somone a wonderful mate one day. Perhaps this Chopi could be the one? She would certainly like to meet her.
