Mwokoti pushed the heavy branches using his back to clear his road... His wanderings in this part proved rather diffiult, obstacled by branches and thorns, hills and hot soil. However, he went on his road; he had to find him or her... Even though it might prove impossible, he should try...

The pink and white lion's mother had revealed that he was going to have a half-sibling before she went away on the rogue lands... Even though he was born in the rogue lands, just like his sibling, he was raised by Pridelanders, where his mother and father belonged. It was his duty to find the sibling, even though he knew that little one was the reason of his mother's death, it was not responsible. It was vulnerable and all alone in the wild... He did not blame it for his loss, what is gone is gone and there was nothing he could do about it, not really.

He crossed another fallen tree trunk, carefully placing his paws so he did not cause the soil to slide. He was tired, he was thirty but he had to go on.. he could not leave the little one in the roguelands; it should retun back to where it belonged; with its family... which consisted only of Mwokoti.

It had been a huge accomplishment to persuade herself to finally travel this far from her mountain home. Now running amidst the southlands, Takatifu'nyota was now as paranoid as ever, gasping at every rustling branch and footstep. It was misfortune. She knew it had to be. Something had to be watching her, yes.

Assuming this automatically here and there, the female ducked this and that, shielding herself behind fallen logs, trees, and exceptionally large bushes until whatever it was she thought following had passed. Often times it was a mammel such as a mouse or squirrel, and rather often proving to be absolutely no threat at all.

"Oooh this was such a bad idea, Kita.. what were you thinking.. they're bound to throw you over the cliff for wandering.. such a.. EEP!" She mumbled and yelped, catching her back paw on a small, thorny vine and nearly tripping over herself. Upon looking backward, she couldn't help but sigh with quiet relief. "Oh Kita.. just a stupid.. vine.. getting yourself all worked up over nothing.. phew.." She mumbled, speaking with herself only out of helping keep comfortable with the situation. It proved to be not helping very much at all.

"Maybe.. I should turn around.. maybe no one will have noticed I left.. oooh but what if they did..?! Not good at all.. I'll be confined to my den for days.." She continued, only just now noticing the large, rustling noises pushing their way towards her through the dense foliage. "OH NO!" She gasped, making another dive at a bush to sheild herself, making much more of a racket than ever.

Mwokoti shook his white mane and looked around coldly with his ice-colored eyes.. He was sure he hear something, or rather someone, just nearby. Because of the wind, he did not smelled the stranger's presence before he actually heart it hit the ground like a large rock.

Taking careful steps, he lowered his body, his belly almost touching the ground and walked slowly towards the source of the noise. The scent gave her away as a lioness, but the white and pink lion could never be sure if it was a hostile or a friendly one.

He passed by several bushes and logs, his paws sliding on the ground almost weightlessly. He was a good fighter, unlike many Pridelanders his search for his lost sibling helped her become aware of the fact that the world was not all pink, unlike him, and was full of evil lurking around every corner. Not that he was afraid, but he just disliked wasting his time with worthless fights.

Mwokoti walked a little more and stopped in front of a bush and leaned towards the middle of the leaves, concealing the source of the scent. If she was hiding, that meant she was afraid of confronting him which also meant no fighting this time. Mwokoti's muscles relaxed and he took a more casual stance in front of the bush "You can come out you know, those bushes will stratch you"

Takatifu'nyota only began shoving herself more towards the middle of the bush, emitting a loud squeaking like noise when the voice sounded from behind. Not at all sure as to if she should answer or not, the female remained silent for several monutes, fussing and wiggling to situation herself in a better, more protected position.

Eventually however, she did decide to mutter a few words, despite their shortness. "No, no.. I can't come out.. I really can't even talk to you either.. so if you would kindly just.. keep on walking.." She began, hoping she'd take this hint and keep moving on his way. Although his position in front of the bush made her assume that well.. he wasn't going anywhere. "

"In fact I shouldn't even be here! I knew I'd get into trouble.. I KNEW it.. Oooh Kita should toddle right on back to the mountain before she's booted off it.. yes.. yes.. that's a most satisfying idea.. I'll roll with that once the big white leaves.. yes.." She began muttering furiously to herself, most obviously thinking aloud and not meaning to. Realizing this, she couldn't help but correct herself. "Oh! No no.. just forget you heard all that.. you heard nothing! Why are you still standing there..? Keep moving.. nothing to see here.. just.. just a bush.. just a talking busy.." She began, brows quirking while she waited.

Mwokoti smiled as he listened to what the lioness said and could not help but laugh softly... She must be a young one after all... Maybe her parents thought her not to talk to the strangers? He wondered if anyone thought his sibling to take care of himself too? He got used to calling it him, because he did not know the sex of the cub, who was more likely an adult by now.

"Well the worst trouble might be that you will hurt yourself while trying to fit in that bush, and besides if I had the intention of hurting you I would not stay here and chat with you now would I?" he smiled again and took a step back to give her some space "Now a talking bush is a charming idea" he said to indicate that he heard the monologue and enjoyed it too. "And for the record, you might want to hide that tail too" he said moving around the bush to take a more closer look at the white tail.. white? Just like his tail.. He gasped and took a few steps back... Maybe this was the sibling he was looking for after all... He had never met a while lion like himself before, so maybe this time... this time he got it right...

His silence made it look like he listened to what the lioness had said and left but in reality he was just frozen and caught up in thoughts... Could it be.. her? He had heard from his foster parents, who came to visit his mother when she gave birth that the little one had both stripes and spots.. That was his only clue.. Not even a name...

"No no.. the bush won't hurt me.. the busy is my friend.. now.. go.. just.. go.. please.. " She stated lightly. He was evil. Yes, this male was evil. And deaf. He didn't want to leave becuse he wanted to talk to her. She couldn't talk to him. She wasn't allowed. "I reaaally can't talk.. so.. just.. go. And no no.. the tail is fine.. no one'll see.. but if you keep talking to the bush they will.. because they'll find it odd and flock to see.. so.. go.."

She continued to push the idea further and further, hoping that eventually the white male would just.. leave her alone. And in all actuality, it seemed as if he did! With a loud sigh of relief after the moments of silence, Taka finally began to wiggle her way from the bush, keeping her eyes shut in order to sheild them from the thick leaves and huddled branches while she hauled herself from the shrub. "Aaah.. so much better.. yes.. Kati will just.. run back to the mou--EEP! You tricked me! You need to go.. no... I'll go! Yes.. I'll go.. I need to leave.. Because.. I can't talk to you." She ended quickly, panicking most likely. With that she turned head on heal and began loping off, steps quick and quiet while she sped in the opposite direction, which, in all honesty, was completely the wrong direction. Unfortunately she hadn't noticed the resemblence between the two. Some pink.. lots of white.. nope. She hadn't noticed. If she had she might have also noticed the males dazed sort of expression, which was no doubt thinking about Kita. Pity.

Mwokoti's eyes opened wide as he watched the female coming out of the bush. For starters she was not a cub but an adult! Which made him think she was a little over protective about herself... If she was his sister, then that would be because she was deprived of some mother love... yes that was it... This white female was definitely his sister. He did not even notice she did not have stripes but only spots.

He followed her, and being slighly larger with longer legs, he soon gained on her and faced her "Wait... please.." he said in a desperate tone. He could not ask her if she was his sister, that would not make any sense and would frighten her, especially now that she was already frightened. He tried to think quick, something that his foster parents had said should pop in his mind in a second... but it did not... However, no matter how much alike they look, he did not get the feeling that they were actually related.. He did not know why, but facing her and looking into her eyes made him question if his search was actually worth wasting all his life on some lion who could be very well dead.

"Did you..." he talked quickly "are you..." he continued, searching for the perfect verb "Do you have a family? Ones that actually look like you?" he asked.. He knew what he just said did not make any sense but if the lioness' parents did indeed resemble her in some way, there wasn't a slightest chance that she was his sister.

He was.. following her..? Kita's pace quickly sped up in order to keep the distance between the two. "Nope, nope.. can't wait.. need to go home.. Can't talk with you!" She continued to be persistant in this state of mind, although still headed in the opposite direction, which she had yet to pick up on.

"Yes family. Father was a dark color, mother was a lighter color. Don't remember either that much, so I couldn't tell you if they looked like me. Oops! Wrong way.. must.. get home.." She gaped, quickly once again turning on heel only to walk directly at the male. "'Scuse me.." She murmered, silently sweeping past the male with one long stride. He was following her. How incredibly mean of him. Once again her pace was sped up in order to avoid furthermore confrontation. "I thought I asked you to go..?"

Wait.. he was white.. It had just dawned upon her that perhaps he was frm the same pride as she. She hadn't seen any of the members in so long that she found it rather difficult to exactly recall even what any of them looked like. Yes! He MUST be in the same pride! Quickly she spun around, attitude almost completely changing. It didn't matter anymore about the rules of the mountain pride if he was a fellow companion..

"Where are you from?" She quickly asked, stopping rather close in front of Mwokoti, staring quietly upward, waiting silently for a reply.

Mwokoti found the attitude of the female rather amusing, and since her father was black maybe she was an adopted lion after all... She could very easily be his sister... Yes that was possible... "What's the hurry?" he asked teasingly as he caught up with her. He jumped over a log and finally came to a rest next to the female. Where was he from? That was more like a pasword to gain her trust than a friendly chat. He blinked his ice-colored eyes which finally rested on the faint pink hue of the female's.
He knew he had to find the right answer to prevent her from running away again, but by nature he was unable to lie.

"Just hear me out before listening to my answer ok?" He asked after cathing his breath "Don't run away again, please... Why are you so afraid?" He tilted his head "The reality is I am not crazy following you aroung like a pup.. It is just that.. I am looking for my sibling whom I never actually saw.. We were parted from birth... and now here you are looking so much alike to me... I think maybe somehow we are related?" He asked deperately though he knew he was just trying to fool himself. As he inspected the lioness more closely he came to realize that she had no stripes like his sibling was told to have but only spots...

"You asked me where I was from... I am from the roguelands, born from pridelander parents. Mwokoti.. yes that is my name and I am..." he bowed his head as to greet the female for the first time ".. charmed.." He then lifted his head to face her again "and where are you from?..."

Kita couldn't help but quirk her head at this males odd little tale. He believed they were.. related? Oh heavens he was such a confused being. No no, it wasn't possible that they were related at all! Considering that none of her family had originally come from the pridelands. Although she was not positive of the amount of generations that had passed actually living in her family in the mountain pride, she was sure that it was plenty enough to not have any.. close relations to this particular male. "Oh. I was mistaken. So you're not in the mountain pride, then? Hmn. Darn. That means that I really can't talk to you afterall! And no, it sounds as if we're not related, since I've lived in the mountains my entire life as did my father, siblings, mother, and several other generations back.. it would highly impossible that we'd be related. So if you'll excuse me.."

This took only seconds to explain, considering that this female could be an aweful fast talker when she needed to be. It was unfortunate that, despite that she'd continue to walk away, however, that this gentlemen would follow. Despite this known fact, Kita turned once again on heel and began loping quickly off in the direction of the large, towering landmark in the distance, leaving not even her name or a nice to meet you.

Truth be told she felt not at all comfortable here. She wanted and longed for the distant mountain structure in the worst way. It had always been a bad idea to leave. For all she knew, the others might have been looking desperately for her.. although.. perhaps they hadn't noticed that she'd left..? Her den was awefully high.. considering that she hadn't seen many around those parts recently.. it was a possibility that no one had noticed.. that would only be better for her, she decided, quietly nodding to herself to conclude the idea.

Mwokoti sighed, he had a hard time keeping up with this female and he really felt like he had started to be a bother to her.he was not his sister after all.... but how could that be?... If not her who? If not here where?..." He stared at the sky, it had started to get dark... he wondered if all his life would consist of this meaningless search... No commitments, not resposibilities other than finding his sibling, no life at all.

"Thank you for your time then...." he called after the pale colroed lioness "so I will just stay here...." He felt his courage and will to go on drained from his blood. He sat on the ground, or rather collapsed next to a large dead tree trunk. If he could make sure that the female wondered far enough, he would cry; but no, not here, not now. This encounter with the pale female who seemed more than eager to run away from him made him realize how small he was in this huge plot he was trying to take a part in; it was impossible to find his sibling. He had never felt quite deperate but nothing was ever clearer... He could see his life for what it was; a huge blackhole.

He lifted his head, considering to follow the female but he did not want to scare her off anymore, and besides he had no energy to do so. If he could not find his sibling, then he would wait for him or her to find him.. he would not move away from this log... The gleam oflight evaporated from his ice blue eyes as he tiredly lay his white head on the ground... why would she not just stay.. for a while?
