Okay, she had snuck away from Zimwi, and hopefully he wouldn't notice she'd disappeared for too long. She had spent too long in the Umande'mfuni Lands in her opinion, and she needed to wander around again. She was older now, and she could even take down wildebeasts! She was a better huntress, as well. About time... She stretched, yawning slightly, before moving over to a flat-surface boulder and laying on top of it.
...Now, she was bored. Bored. More bored than when she had been in the Umande'mfuni Lands, where she had promised Zimwi she would stay with him. She missed her other friends dearly... especially Kijito. Wondering if she would get to make new friends, she dozed. The sun's warm heat was nice... her thoughts turned towards her cheetah family. Would she ever see them again? If she could sneak out more, maybe... She needed to visit the Pridelands to see Kijito, too!
...Oh well. Half-open eyes showing a dark-ruby, almost maroon, colored eyes scanned the area as her tail flipped back in forth. Man, she was bored.

A figure of brown, black and white stood out predominantly among the gold and green grass of the savanna. To any one being that lived among this particular area of terrain, Runai would stick out most obviously as an outsider. Unfamiliar to the terrain, the adolescent kept an unwary air about him, constantly ducking and glancing from side to side as the stalks of weeds knocked together through the wind.
Naive and far from mature, the prince had trailed far from his homeland into the south, unclaimed territory. Neutral soil, he'd heard. Therefore he assumed he could explore as he pleased.. hopefully without any confrontation or quarreling. Two things he was best at.
Despite this known fact, he couldn't help but continue to guard and check the surroundings.. just to be sure. If he did happen see anything unusual, he'd be sure to high tail it and hide. It was a graveyarders way. Hide until it was safe, explore when no one can see. It was a known rule of his home, although there much more obvious dangers there, rather than here.
Although his idea of no confrontations remained pounding in his mind, the painted male couldn't help but spy a strange, silver colored female not to far off. Curiousity was always the enemy.. poisoning the mind with a sickly sweet taste. He crept closer, attempting to keep himself low, not to mention quiet. However his once quiet paws made a constant racket now.. thank you to the limp. Often times his stealth mode was corrupted by this, blocking and foiling all his defensive sheilds, to some extent. Ah well. He'd get over it eventually. With furrowed brows he waited, inky black gaze directed completely at the female. At least he could spy on the girl.. hopefully without being noticed.

Her tail flicked back and forth as she scanned her homeland, the unclaimed southlands. Ugh. This place was so boring. Something interesting needed to happen. Her ear twitched, however, when she thought she heard the sounds of rustling. Straightening from her position on the boulder, she sat up and looked around her. She could've sworn... Hopping off the boulder with a graceful ease that had taken her many nights of practicing to do, she began to search around the area curiously.
Dark ruby eyes moved at a constant pace as she padded around softly, searching for that noise. Deciding to maybe be friendly, she called out in a gentle voice, "Hello? Is anyone there? I won't hurt you or anything." Unless you try to hurt me first, that is, was her following thought, but she decided against saying that because it might scare off whoever it was that was there. Her boredom was diminishing, but just barely. She used her nose, and caught a scent slightly off from the area around her, but maybe she was being to nosey. She giggled at that, and just continued to search.
...And search she did, for without realizing it, and being the clumsy lioness she was, she ran into someone. A he someone. A lion. "Oh! I'm so sorry!" She said, a little surprised. Getting up, she backed away. He didn't look dangerous, but one never knew. After all, these were the Southlands.
