Ryuten is by far the most unnatural portion of the Nequus world. It is here that the humanoids make their home, nestled in between the arms of the Casa Tiner and Fyhi tel Oren. It is north of Shrilal, and done so for a purpose. For it is here that the Nequus and their creators are worshipped.
The tilted landscape is covered in shrines and temples. Some contain solemn trees, others rest in solitude on their own lone hill, overlooking the great tree. Some are large, others are only a small pedestal from which to sit and muse. The majority have gold covered tops that twinkle vibrantly in the sunlight, vines wrapping hungrily around their white supports.
Only thirty or so humans dwell in this world, taking occurrences with Nequus to heart. It is a sacred privilege to live in this land. Some have taken young foals to be their companions, making daily trips to the gardens to coax the young foals into staying with them. Some of the Nequus shy from their hands and refuse hospitality. Others visit from time to time, and still yet some Nequus choose never to leave their companions side.
No one here eats meat, it is forbidden; instead the travel to the base of each mountain and far to the other sides of the gardens to forage on small roots. They do not farm, for there is no need. Cultivating the land simply tears up its beauty and gives them a surplus of food which they do not need. There is plenty enough food for these humanoids, and so they live in peace without violence or weapons.
All are adorned in togas of the Greek fashion and indeed they do seem to be Greek in many ways, but for the fact that Greeks do not exist in this world. Their garments are woven from the thick strands of Tur fruit that can only be found in the forests of Casa Tiner and softened by the Guish flower which grows only on the tallest points of Fyhi tel Oren.
Weather here is pleasant. Living so close to Shrilal they see the same temperatures and events from spring to winter with the exception that their position in-between the mountains gives them a heavy fall of rain and a heavy dry period during summer. They are much a mix between the mountains of fire and the Crystal Lands.
