Maji hung up the phone. Again. It seemed like she'd done this before; call up another owner to ask for a playdate for her charge. They were both mammles, and both Laial's age.
And Laial still didn't get out enough. Or at least, that's what she thought. "Laial, a D-Corpian is coming over." The house was silent. "Laial?" Still no answer. "LAIAL!!"
A tentecle, then another, apeared out of Laial's doorway, followed by his head and a dozen more. "Yeah?"
How was she going to tell him? "A D-Corpian's coming over." Get the hissy-fit done with.
Surprisingly, there was none. Laial just blinked, nodded, and went to the kitchen. "Wait...what animal are they?" he asked. If he was lucky, she might have accidentally called Talia over...
...but no such luck. "They're a cat."
He resumed his disappointed walk to the kitchen. Ah well...
Maji also sighed. She idily tidied the room, waiting for her guests to come.

"Why did you have to bring me?" A spotted girl whined, ears flat against her scalp, glaring at the creature walking before her. "No wait, a better question, why are making me go somewhere?" They were both very good questions. For some reason, her mother had not only made her a 'play date,' but she had also bailed out on her at the last moment. "Why didn't Mum come?"
Striding with a very unhappy step, a brown furred feline with faded golden features nearly stopped along a set path. She wasn't anymore happy about this than the girl was, she wished she could get that point across, but no, in the past few weeks the cheetah had out of nowhere grown more stubborn than ever. Hpmh, must be the hormones. "Because your mother is having family issues." Mabyn snapped, shoving some sunset coloured hair out of her eyes, "So I brought you. Deal with it."
Stupid, stupid Yin. She was just so insensitive! Sahra wished she didn't have to put up with her so much. "Grr..." Hissing under her breath, her green eyes filled with contempt. She would get back at her for this, oh yes she would, just wait until she fell asleep, and then she'd strike. Yin would wake up yet another morning to find herself immobile and tied down to her bed, or, with honey caked all over her body, maybe this time she would douse her hair with dye. Yeah, bright pink, the colour she hated the most.
Slinking along behind, Ephrem, the dirt coloured dragon, dragged his claws in the dirt. If it where possible for him to look anymore like dirt than he already did, then he sure did now. "Rurr." He moaned unhappily, quickly attempting to catch up with his partner.
Sahra had no idea where they were going, and she didn't like that. She sensed that Ephrem, too, was not happy about that fact. "Will you at least tell me who we are going to see?" She growled, wrapping her tail around her legs.
"You'll just have to wait and see." Yin snickered, loving to bother the cheetah. It couldn't be too much further, though, at least she thought. Coming to a stop near a door, she nodded; this must be it. Walking towards her destination, she pounded on the door. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad? Hm...right.

Maji snapped her head towards the door. Already? She didn't even have her hat or gloves on yet! Hopefully, Sah's parent didn't mind cat parts... She opened the door, only to see a cat anthro. Good! She shouldn't mind... She opened the door fully to see a little anti-social girl with a dirt dragon next to her. Oh, they'll get along wonderfully.
"Hello," she smiled politly at the anthro. "Are you Ms. Mew Kazuma?"
Laial peered out of the kitchen, unfortunetly his eyesight was not up to par. Good thing D-Corp didn't check eyesight. He walked closer until he was about 45' away. Now he could see the cat. She didn't look like anything from D-Corp. Brown fur, orange hair?

Looking forward as the door swung open, Yin looked over the woman that appeared within her path, and a boy in the distance. So they were it? Maybe this wouldn't be to bad after all. "Pfft, I wish, and then I wouldn't have had to bring the nuisance." The brown feline crinkled her nose, the general emotion between her and the cheetah girl initially showing that they simply hated each other, at least at the moment. It wasn't until Sahra had gotten older that they started conflicting so much, but, this was the way it was. "I'm Mabyn, a.k.a. Yin, her, uh, Aunt, I guess you could say. Mew couldn't make it due to...family issues." She nodded, yes, that was what she had been calling it, so she would have to continue.
Padding her way up into the doorway, Sahra stared blankly for a moment up at the woman, tilting her head in wonder as she figured on what she was. Another cat, hm, interesting, well, at least it wasn't another gopher. "Hi-thar Ms." She mewed, turning her head a moment to see Ephrem out of the corner of her eye. "Sorry for tenseness." Nodding, she scooted aside a bit, motioning the lindworm behind her further forward.
Slithering up beside the cheetah, Ephrem eyed the woman, and finding nothing interesting about her, he slinked partially inside, leaning his head to the side. He could smell something further into the house, but couldn't quite seem to find it. He wondered what it was? Maybe it'd prove to be more interesting.
"Uh, uh, sorry again--" Grabbing the dragon by the collar, Sahra yanked her Re backward into her arms, wrapping them both firmly around the now long and lanky, squirming body of the dragon. Great, this really would be great.

Maji raised an eyebrow at Yin's hissy response. Apparently not. "Sorry for any mistake. I very rarely meet any other 'parents'." She didn't get out enough, either. Living in the middle of nowhere could do that to you. "Family issues?" Her nosey nature flared up again. "Never mind, none of my business..."
Her gaze turned to Sahra. Perhaps she was wrong... Good, she could teach Laial manners. Or at least more interesting clothing tastes... Hopefully, she could get him out of his 'pink and blue' rut that he seemed stuck in.
Oooh, the dragon was even better. Like a dirt snake with legs. Wonder what would happen if he was mixed with a peacock? No no, no experimenting on other's dragons, that would be bad, especially if shi was attached to him as Laial was to Heiko.
Speaking of, Heiko peered from the kitchen as well, white muzzle appearing a second before the rest of hir. Oooh, another dragon? Shi slithered closer, until she was right behind Maji. Peering around her legs, Heiko blinked and looked at the strange lizard thing. Shi cooed in welcome.
Laial also stepped closer. Wait, there was a younger girl there...with a dragon. This was probably the cat Maji was talking about. Oops. He waved a little at the cheetah mix, slightly taken aback by her wild clothes. That was strange...but interesting.

"Uh, right." Standing with her arms crossed tightly, rolling her eyes out of annoyance; there were so many better things she could be doing right now. But she couldn't change the fact that she was already there, and with as uptight as Mew had been lately, she really had no choice in the matter. She would simply stay out of the way and try and keep quiet, yeah, then she wouldn't cause any trouble.
"Oh HI there!!" Grinning a bright and almost bubbly smile, Sahra waved at the wonderfully coloured dragon. And what an interesting one, too; it looked just like that other fish like dragon she saw at the big sleepover. Maybe they were both swimmers? "What's your name, hm? You're really very pretty, you know that?"
Finally giving up on his struggle, Ephrem admitted defeat, but only for one reason. This thing, this thing in front of them, what was it? First the strange lady, then this weird looking, aquatic...thing? It looked sort of like a Nen with limbs on a bad fin day. "Rurr?" He said in question, blinking strangely.
Sahra laughed, "Well at least you're not being moody today," The cheetah said hopefully, deciding Re deserved to be let go of. It was then that she realized there was someone else there, a bit more of a distance off, maybe, well, she never had very good depth perception. "Hello!" She purred in greeting, "So many new faces~!" Just why she ended up so oddly hyperactive, well, who knew.

Maji frowned slightly at the rather rude cat anthro. Friendly, aren't you? "Now, would you both like to come in, or are you rather comfortable out there?" She didn't mean to sound sarcastic, but...yeah.
Heiko smiled widely at all the attention. Yay- wait, what was the snake-with-legs thing? She tilted her head at Ephrem. "Chiiir?"
Laial blinked and walked over closer. "Hello," he replied much more calmly than the cat had. "I guess so." he did the numbers in his head; three for both of them.

Well, three was a lot when you didn't really get away from home much. Okay, so maybe she was hardly ever at home, but rather was in the forests and mountains around home. It was fairly rare to run into anyone out there, after all! Well, other than G-Bird, and maybe Sil if he was out seeking Ephrem.
"Mmhm." Mabyn eyed the woman as she took a few steps, heading into her home, she felt like fair game, which she was. "No thanks, I prefer concrete to grass." She replied back, ears flicking in annoyance. This hadn't been a very good day; not-at-all.
"Well you're sure nice, huh?" That along with decent interaction from her own partner made the spotted feline very happy. Slipping in past the two 'battling' felines, or so it appeared to her, she padded swiftly closer to the boy she had seen from the doorway. "Sorry." She grinned, "But, I'm Sahra." The cheetah proclaimed, "That's my partner, Ephrem," Pointing at the dirt coloured creature as he slithered to her side, although his eyes were still planted on the other dragon, attempting to figure out what she was, no doubt.
"And the brown feline is Yin, my evil tempered, um, aunt-sister sort of thing. Anyways, who are you?" Smiling wonderfully, she hoped she wouldn't scare this person like she had the last; some people just didn't seem to appreciate outgoing beings anymore.
