C'mon... I know we've all done some incredibly stupid things while playing Suikoden.
For me, my big OMFGWTF moment for me was when I wrote over my best S4 save file with a new one. Stupid memory cursor... And when I spent like, 2 days trying to win that war battle in S3 that's impossible for you to win, let alone survive. I smacked myself with a wooden board when I found out I couldn't win. sweatdrop

Hmm, not being able to finish up Suikoden II, that was ages go when I was in 5th grade. Oh, and erasing my Chris file in III. And in V, during the Sindar Ruins - I brought party members who weren't levelled up like Faroush and Lyon and they died...a lot in battle. sweatdrop

Ohsaka And in V, during the Sindar Ruins - I brought party members who weren't levelled up like Faroush and Lyon and they died...a lot in battle. Do you mean the first Sindar Ruins, the ones where you met Zweig? Cause OMFG, I hated those ruins with a passion. I hated those god damn flying-saucer sun things. A god damn pain, they were.

In II right before Nanami died I didn't get all 108 stars because I had forgotten that she dies when you go to back to Rockaxe castle gonk I had to restart the whole game! crying

I accidentaly pressed reset and I didnt save at all after playing for 15 hours straight... I think I was after the death of Luca....................
well there goes 15 hours of my life wasted

It was so annoying..I should've came better prepared, luckily I didn't have much trouble fighting those 2 Buddhas at the end. Hey, has anyone been playing either of the Suikoden games for a long period of time then all of a sudden your PS or PS2 just freezes up on you after you did something really big? It's happened to me in III and V! I think it's cuz I was playing waaay too much that day.

Somehow I manage to not carry over save data from 1 to 2 TWICE! I still wonder to myself how the hell did that happen.

I had two saved files of my Suikoden IV game: my original one and my New Game+. I was at the final savepoint on my New Game+ and so I saved. Then I went back to my original game a few weeks later to play Ritapon and the other mini-games. When I earned a lot of money, I went to go save and I ended up saving over my New Game+ file!! Argh! That was horrible!!
And then in Suikoden III, I forgot to change my memory card with my sisters. So when I went to go save, I ended up saving over my sister's file! But it was a good thing since my sister ended up restarting her game anyway.

Of course there are somethigs that you need to say to her too during that time. I messed mine up because I didn't have all 108 stars.

In III when you're in Calernia and you have to find Geddoe (which there's a little scene of him going to some guy when you get close enough to the building). I couldn't find him and I thought he left and went somewhere else, so I spent 8 hours leveling up three of his members to battle this golm thing in the mountains to try to get past him when I realized that you didn't need to do that..... sweatdrop
