After meeting Shadowfax, Aruna felt more lively and free. Happier. She smiled to herself as she ran at a moderate pace to go along with this peculiar feeling she currently felt. If she saw Rahu again, it'd be too soon, but then again, it'd be interesting too. "Heheh..." she smirked. She was facing the world again, and this time, she had "wings" to prove it. Or were those the feathers on her body? No matter. She was flying in the sky now...

Rahu snorted again as he kept pushing himself as he ran. Ears pinned back he thought he heard someone else running but at a slower pace, but could not tell over his own thundering hoofs. Shaking his head as he ran, he ignored anything around him for now till he was through running. Sweat rolled down his muscles and caused his muscles and coat to glisten a bit. Just about exhausted now, he slowed down to a slower pace so then he would at lest have the strength to get a drink and then find somewhere to rest.

As she ran, she could swear she heard the thundering of pounding hooves on the ground, nearly shaking it. Someone was trying to take out their frustration... well, at least some Soquili had some sense. Instead of taking out their anger on those they cared for, they went somewhere else to calm down. As she ran, she swerved her ears back and forth as she tried to figure out the running pattern of the other. A stallion... because the running was somewhat hard-put, and... well, that's all she could tell. She noticed a brook as she ran by, and slowed down as she saw how delicious the water looked. Half-smiling, she turned back and bent to take a drink. Mmmm... this water was delicious...

Rahu finally was now walking and not running no more. He was now purely exhausted and headed to the closest place that had water for a drink. Snorting as he walked, he just wanted to sleep after running and pushing himself. Though he actually now had his love for running back, he kept over doing it a lot. Shaking his head, he felt a little light headed from running too much but kept on his way.

Aruna glanced over the brook and blinked. Okay, she was hallucinating. She hadn't thought much of Rahu except for one thought of seeing him too soon. This black stallion was different. He was tired. He was not Rahu. Nope.
...What in the world was Rahu doing near here? Actually, anywhere near her!?
She decided to be quiet and try her best to blend in with the nature around her, but it proved to be quiet difficult. Maybe if she stood still he wouldn't notice? He looked too tired to be able to be aware of anything besides his exhausted body, so... She stilled, and softened her breathing, carefully watching him.

She sighed. He's still a friend, at least. Walking over to him, she asked quietly, "Need help?" If he insulted her, she would just have to grit her teeth and help the fool anyway. He was such a pain. Most times, at least. Right now, he was in pain, instead of being one. "You should probably look after yourself better." She hoped he was too tired to recognize her voice. "Here, lean against me. I can take you to place where you can rest." She spoke quietly, so that her voice was unrecognizable... she hoped.

She flinched when he snapped at her, but nonetheless, she took a few breaths and calmed down. Aruna set her face to an impassive expression although her eyes flashed in irritation. "But you're tired! Just let me help you. I mean, look at yourself! You nearly toppled over!" She trotted after him, determined to help him even if he told her not to. He was still her friend, and she always helped her friends. "Just let me help you. C'mon." She wasn't going to beg and say 'please' but she was going to bother him until he let her help him.

She sighed as she trailed after him. "I know you don't need my help, but I insist because I know you need some help! See? You..." She closed her eyes. Stay cool... neutral... yes... that's it... She opened her eyes again as she waited to hear Rahu's rant. Might as well let the guy scream and kick and pout and whine and everything else in between at her. He needed an outlet, so why not her? She could handle it. She hoped. "If you need to rant or something, go ahead. I'll stand here and let you have at me."

"I was out enjoying myself," she replied, eyeing him carefully. "I'm not giving you pity, just giving you an outlet." She backed a bit, then lay down so that she faced him, but she wasn't exactly looking at him. "You're only pathetic if you make yourself out to be," Aruna replied, diverting her eyes. She had learned that lesson the hard way. "Now, what's wrong? I'm probably the only one who knows you best, and I can tell by the way you've been running something's bothering you. Do you care to share? Or do you want me to leave it alone and just chat with you?" She hoped he wanted to told her what was wrong, but that didn't matter as long as he wasn't trying to be... snappish at her... she supposed.
