Not really. Sometimes I see people staring or so but not more than that. One of my teachers even came to me and said she used to have a skirt like mine when she was young!

Usually the people that I know of that hate hippies (what have the hippies do to you, you scum!) are usually the people who listen to rap and that kind of... stuff... *shakes her head* I... well, I don't hate them... just wish bad things upon them... 3nodding

People hate me because I'm me... I generally defy classification...
...But I can't really think of anyone I know who hates hippies, then again I tend to avoid the hip-hop set.

I don't know that people know I'm a hippie... just the wierdo that flips out when people are mean to the birds or other students on our campus. I don't think there are any obvious hippies at my school, but people tend to think I overreact to random acts of callousness. rolleyes

Only person who makes fun of meis my big brother : oP . Other than that most people I know love that I don't fit the norm. I know some of my friends (more or less male) that get a lot of ridicule.

My grandpa hates hippies. And just about anyone who doesn't conform to his views of normal. If he knew that I was a hippie and a Wiccan, he would never talk to me again.

I know of a few people who hate hippies, but I don't actually know them (at least not well), and so it doesn't really affect me much, if at all.
