So, here's the thing. I'm looking to apply some place and it asks for the application form along with a certification of typing proficiency by a certain date. I'm just a little lost. Where can I get a certification of typing proficiency?

I'm not sure. Looking on Google, it looks like it varies from state to state and counties.

Where can I get a certification of typing proficiency? Umm...typing proficiency? Do they mean 10 key, alpha numeric, or something else? I'd suggest asking for more information.

I'm sorry, I can't help, but I think you should definitely ask for more information, it seems a little vague...

I think they mean, like, words per minute or something like that. But how do I get certification?

My impression is that this is something you have to go to a certain facilitiy (like I mentioned earlier it varies by where you live) where you get on their computer and pretty much do a typing test. Google typing proficency and your state.

On topic, Does anyone know how to write a resume? I'm applying to a little head shop down the street, but they need a resume in place of an application. I need this job badly, but I have absolutely nothing to write!
It's most likely useless to even post this as it's 6am and I have to turn it in today. confused

um, there's no standard format. make sure to include any experience relevant to the job, including volunteer work. try googling it. there is more websites on this topic than you could possibly read!
