My big fat gay friend is a few years older than me. I adore him, he's so cuddly. Anyway, sometimes we have to go pick him up at his place. Normal house right? (Well normal except that there are headless dead shrews in the backyard next to broken toys). Sometimes when we're really unfortunate, we have to wait upstairs for my friend to get ready to leave. That's when his creepy little sister approaches and tries to make us all pet her hamster or look at her creepy parrot. It is an oppressing, something's wrong with her kind of creepy-cheerful. She's always shrouded in shadow when she does this too, and she always manages to sneak up on us when she does it and manages to scare the living bejeezus out of us. Anyway, when the family moved into the house, there was some strange writing on the wall in the girl's room. It was a painted-on demonic summoning sigil of some kind. (I'm even pretty confidant, and I've dabbled in demonology a teensy bit). So, instead of removing the paint, splashing it with holy water, etc, the parents just PAINT OVER IT AND PUT THE HEAD OF THE KID'S BED UP AGAINST THAT PART OF THE WALL.
Right... My friend said recently that he was passing her room and she was just silently playing with her toys, when he noticed something was odd. He asked what she was doing and she said that her toys were being bad and she had to punish them.
Then he realized that she had tied nooses around her stuffed animals' heads and had hanged a couple. The girl is 9 years old. I have never heard her speak above a very, very quiet inside voice. And I haven't seen her smile at all.
Me and my boyfriend ran into my friend's dad at a chinese buffet yesterday. He was there with his daughter and wife. So him and my boyfriend are chatting and I notice that the creepy lil sister is carrying a sole bowl of bright red sweet and sour sauce like she's in a procession line at a funeral or a creepy flower girl or something. She sets the bowl down at the middle of the edge of the table and stares at it for a while, running one hand on the edge of it until just before her mom returns to the table.
I'm gaping and desperately trying to politely tell my friend's dad to piss off, meanwhile my bf is totally oblivious to what happened.
What do you all think? We always make exorcist jokes at my friend. Do any of you know anybody like this?

my little sister acts kind of like that. she can walk on the banisters like the girl went down the stiars in the exorcist. i think that the writing may have just been teenagers trying to be badass. she just may be more in tune with the supernaural than most of us. i try to hone my skills sometimes but my sister is better than me and she does nothing. its not cause she is younger either. she will also just apear places and just sit in my room for ages just staring. its ok though. its all harmless. by the by, the girl might be able to make things happen, things that normal psychics have no control over. but just dont get her ticked and youll be fine

Fortunately she's creepy enough that I don't bother myself with it. We usually just say "Okay Shelby" and ignore her.

Gee, I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that the stupid parents put the head of her bed underneath a painted over DEMONIC SYMBOL! Seriously, if the child is screwed up like that because of demonology, the parents are screwed up for putting her underneath that symbol to sleep each night.

Holy water works, though. No matter what religion made it, it does work. It actually has different effects, too, oddly enough. Anyway, I'd do it just to be sure.

I love seeing people do those sorts of thing. Whats wrong with sitting in a room and staring at nothing? I do it frequently. I would love a demonic symbol over the head of my bed ^__^ I find you lucky to wittness these things so often.

Well, I would definitely take her behavior very, very, VERY seriously, just not for supernatural reasons... sweatdrop
You are right, a 9 year old making nooses and hanging her 'naughty' toys is NOT normal in any sense of the word. It sounds like a desperate plea for help to me. Something horrible is happening to her, and she is trying really hard to get someone to notice and help her!!!! gonk
To me, and yes I would know from personal experience, I think she is being abused by someone, probably sexually. She desperately needs professional help. Do you know her full name? And her elementary schools name? You can do 2 things anonymously that could greatly help this child. Call CPS (child protective services) and/or the police, and drop an anonymous concern over her behavior. Pay attention any time you are around her, so you can give details.. Also, call the school and talk to the counselor there about your suspicions. (Don't mention the demon stuff tho, you know how people can be, and they might not take you seriously).
You can do all of this anonymously, so they'll never know it was you, and an investigation of any kind could really save this girl from a horrible, HORRIBLE! fate!!!! I would highly recommend doing this.
You could also try getting the house blessed on your own, like in secret.. I don't really know how to do that in secret though xp and maybe prayer?
Seems like there is probably really something bad happening though, that you might have the power to help stop, so I would highly recommend doing what you can, even if it's only make a simple phone call!!!!

More stories from Shelby, gleaned from my friend on Saturday at LARP.
He works at a Casey's gas station down the street from where his parents live. So Shelby walks in one day and looks up at him and says,"You're working.... You're miserable. Your misery makes me happy." And then she walks away. Some other fun experiences from Casey's include one of Shelby's classmates walking in and asking my friend if he was her older brother. He said yes, and when he asked why, the kid tensed up and said,"Oh it's nothing... She's very ...creative." A teacher walks in later and asks if he's related to Shelby, and he says yes again, asking why. "Oh nothing, she's just a very ...interesting girl. She is a little bossy with her friends though."
One day, my friend walks into his backyard and into the basement through the glass door and sees a bunch of cages and ropes in the backyard. When he asks his mother about it, she said,"It was Shelby's idea." You see, apparently she had the ropes attached to the lids of the cages, with the other ends labelled side by side in one position. She was trapping animals this way, and her mother said it was very creative and thought nothing was wrong about it.
P.S. I really don't think anything like that has happened to Shelby. My friend would have noticed... and he feels about that sort of thing the way that I feel about it. He'd tell somebody, do something about it. He says that even though she's creepy as hell, he still loves her.

CPS is singularly the worst instituition in the world. My mother...is dead, but she used to work with them, and hated them with a passion. She was a GaL and stuff (Guardian Ad-Litem) and so she would try and move kids who were being abused into the better home or something. or in a divorce she tries to make sure ..tried to make sure that the kid goes with the right parent and stuff. She hated CPS.
But, that sounds more like some sort of mental abuse or something than demonic problems. Being Christian, I do believe it is possible to be possessed, and there are several cases in the Bible of it happeneing.
However, since she isn't hurting anyone, just her stuff animals I'm not too worried.
I used to hang my sister's barby dolls when I was like somewhere between 3-8. And some relative of mine gaev me a cabbage patch doll, so I had my stuffed lions 'eat' it.
Apparently my father came in and asked me waht I was doing to the doll and I said he was "breakfast" or something weird like that. I dont' know, I was younger then. And as messed up as I am, I'm not possessed or anything, so don't worry about her just yet.

I'm not that worried, it's just eerie. Younger folks are more suceptable to the influences of spirits and have a better perception of the supernatural.

For the record, I completely agree about CPS, but it would at least cast a suspicion out there. (I did say I lived through it, so yes, I know aaaaaaaall about CPS evil )
Anyways, I'm glad to hear you would do something if you felt it was necessary, and her brother too. Way too many people just ignore stuff like that these days, and then wonder why the world can be so sucky sometimes sweatdrop
I'm also glad her brother is watching, but does he talk with her about things? Or is she so creepy, he just can't? She could just want a little guidance, sometimes people 'act out' simply because they don't feel like they fit in...
But, so you are aware. Totally unrelated to what had happened to me, my baby sis was molested by a stepbrother for like 5 years, and I had no idea!!!!! I know all the signs, and what to look for, but right under my nose it happened! sweatdrop gonk My point is, it's not always as easy to spot as you think, and maybe her brother is in the dark is all. (Although I hope not!) So, that is something to think about. I'll keep praying for her anyways!
