My parents made me shovel and haul mulch around the yard today. I decided it was too hot to do clothed, so I took off my shirt and did it in shorts and a sports bra. Heck yeah.
My reasoning was gender equality. If overweight men can do it, overweight women can too. It felt pretty much amazing.
So. Guys? What do you think of gender equality like this? Ladies? Are you proud of who you are under all those clothes? Would you ever do something like that? (Oof. Too much time spent in the GD. Discuss anything you want. ^_^; )

Nobody is saying men can take their shirt off. Anyone who damn well pleases can do it. Some people might not like it, but oh well.
In my America, clothing would be optional anyway.

If you ever run for president, you have my vote, lol. I mean honestly, if we were meant to wear clothes, we'd be born wearing some, lol.
I'm all for gender equality btw.

I'm all for gender equality btw.Politics is not my thing, man. I'm all about the art. You can be sure, though, lots of naked men and women in my movie, because it is the sixth point of the ARKOFF scale: Fornication. Without them, independent films are done for. (Action Revolution Killing Oratory Fantasy Fornication. You must score well in all categories for a successful independent film)

in order to make a REAL statement about gender equality, you would have needed to get rid of the bra too. xd

I almost did that yesterday when I mowed the lawn, err--the backyard, but I opted to wear a spaghetti strap top instead.
In the front yard I wouldn't consider not wearing a spaghetti strap top, too many people drive past my house for me to not be self-conscious.
But I'm one of those girls who refuses to leave the house without a bra on because my boobs are too big for that. So I get really self-conscious easily.
I have mowed the backyard in the past with just a sports bra on, though. It's just not very often that I do. It was so nice how much cooler it was than wearing a top, and I wasn't having to deal with my spaghetti strap top that my chest wants to pop out of sweatdrop

I'm proud of who I am, but I weigh more then I look, and there's children on my street...and...we have no fences..I don't think it'd be right if I ran around half neked. sweatdrop
