I was in boston last weekend for anime boston and when I was walking home to my appartment I almost got raped eight times! It was 12:00am and I was all Lolita but thoughs guys should just die!!!

It is not a mainstream fashion over here so something like that must have attracted them. It makes me wonder if Lolitas should bring some kind of protection with them while walking around the city?

Walking alone in a populated area late at night alone isn't very safe for any lady in any attire, much less in a short dress. sweatdrop
I'd just take a cab if I had to move around at that time.. Though I'm not even such a party animal, so I don't even see myself moving around at that time. stare

Seriously I carry pepper spray, a whisle and a pocketknife. I suggest only the first two. If you start carying a pocketknife... i didn't suggest it.

I remember last the Otakon I went to... I had these guys standing outside of Hooters whistling and making...perverted laughs. So yes, that's when I learned that the lolita fashion does not always get the best kind of attention. >o<;
but I'm lucky anything hasn't happened to me that is as bad as what you said...
so yeah, that should be a lesson to all lolis-- okay, girls in general. Even if you're good at fighting, don't go places by yourself at night.
...especially when you're in loli/dresses/skirts.

I know this sounds well harsh...but i'm sure they didn't try to 'rape' you, because my idea of rape isn't just staring and shouting things..thats being abusive, and i sympathise...
Sorry i know this isn't what you want to hear, but please don't use rape in such a loose context..that really got me worried until i read the whole sentance...then it made more sense.

if someone tried to rape me on my way home, I would have called the cops! atleast to get a ride home. how could you just keep walking? I'm sorry but you shouldn't be out by yourself if you don't have sense to call the police!

After school one day this guy was, most likely high, shouting out anything that had to do with sex. It was really funny actually. I was dressed in lolita she wasn't. But I don't think he was saying that stuff because of how I was dressed. That same day, but earlier I felt really uneasy. I had to go to the office during last period to turn in an appeals form to my counselor. While I was waiting outside her office the administrator of testing walked by and stared at me. I know some not good things about this man(relationships with students, beats his wife. Terrible things all heard from a teacher so they aren't rumors.) so I was like. "OMG he looked at me gross!" Then he came back and was smiling all creepy-like and asked if I dressed like that all the time. I told him I try to as much as possible then he said "It's...(pause) cute." Maybe I was just being flightly on account of what I know about him, but it scared me. But something as ridiculous as that wouldn't stop me from dressing in lolita. If anyone tried to rape me I think they'd give up trying to take off all my layers of clothing. sweatdrop

Eek, that must have been terrifying... I guess this goes to teach us all not to wander around late at night alone. o_o Or if you absolutely have to, make sure you have something you can protect yourself with... like mace or at least a housekey and a bit of skill with it. o__o
