"I d-don't want out..." The boy stuttered quietly even as he trailed after the red head who insisted that he go outside. Even the chime that his older twin brother would be there didn't exactly make the boy thrilled about the idea of more new people. New people were bad, they judged him. They wouldn't like him, they'd see he was no good. He ducked his head further into his high collar, playing with the cross aroundhis neck as he paused. "S-stay home..." He asked again, peering up without moving his head, the little strands of hair over his eyes blowing gently in the warm breeze. "P-please?" He'd learned that Ha, as he called him, rarely gave into the please, but he tried none the less. When the other failed to stop in his trek, the boy continued along after him.
He wasn't eager to go, but he was less eager to be left along with no one to hide behind.
He caught a hand in the soft loose clothe of Haruki's pantleg as he continued along, the sooty wings folded along his back as he did. A small hidden smile crossing his face momentarily as he spotted something he did like up ahead. Which ironically was in the park. Flower, pretty white ones, and yellow. Actually there were a variety of colors, which caused the bird to momentarily release the often silent keepers pantleg to jog forward a few paces. Then he froze as he saw something less welcoming.
People, other children, adults... It didn't matter. People in general.
Revon nipped softly at his lower lip and ducked back into the high hood of his shirt, bi-colored eyes that were far to feminine for a boy wide open as he stared at the bunch.
"G-go back... p-lea-suh..." He said almost wordlessly as Haruki paused next to him a moment, then he was nudged forward again.
"Come on, stop complaining. There's a bench up ahead, you can play near it until your brother gets here..." Came a sigh from Haruki as he continued to edge the boy forward into the park. Why was he stuck taking care of a kid?

"Alright now, Yeesha, be careful. Don't over-exert yourself, you might have a relapse. And be careful of your bandages, don't let them get lose, you don't want them to get infected again, do you?" Hennet, if at all possible, appeared even more tired and overworked than normal, and more protective.
It had been a long, hard time. It had broken his heart when Yeesha had fallen so ill and he had to remove her from D-Corp with permission from The Boss. She had developed a nasty strain of scale rot, something the learned man had been afraid of the Dragon's contracting.
Unfortunatly it had been a very bad sickness, but Yeesha fought hard through it. She looked a little worse for wear, her scales were a bit dull in some places, and there were gauzy white bandages wrapped around her neck, arms, legs and even near the tip of her tail where the rot had caused them to fall off and kill any chance of more growing back.
Finally she was well enough to go out again and return to D-Corp. The child was more than extatic to be back, wanting to see her friends again and eager to meet new people. She paid her father no mind, letting go of her hand as she saw two children rolling around in the mud and dirt to play. Yeesha jogged toward them, raising a hand to wave at them. "HEY!" She stopped when she was almost standing over them, putting her hands on her hips and leaning her weight on one foot. "Why are you licking her?"
Hennet sighed and headed over to the bench where the other parents appeared to be sitting, giving a small wave in greeting.

'Reviei!' Was the last thing Revon heard before being sent flying face first into the grass and dirt by a weight hitting his back. Then there was rolling, and scuffling. He knew very well who it was, the voice he'd heard since he could remember, his sibling. "L-lo!" He managed to cough as the tussle continued then paused finally as he was left starring up at his unkept brother, was was usual. He let out a few coughs as his brother hopped a bit while on the top of this two person twin pile. Finally as his brother calmed enough that he could get a full breath he quietly mumbled his reply in his sweet songlike voice that was saved only for the people he knew. "H-ha.. Said come outside... Said L-lo was coming." He glanced over to the bench where the redhead had plopped down determined to ignore the young bird as much as he could. Haruki definitely wasnt' your ideal parent, but Revon sought to be accepted by him anyway. something he'd likely never truly achieve.
His eyes fled to his brother in horror at the words that camenext, and he drew up his hands to scrub at his face. "N-no Lo, Revon is g-good bird..." He mumbled trying to remove the dirt with the equally dirty sleeves. It wasn't doing much good. "N-not bad bird..." He hiccuped as his voice cracked losing the sweet tone it had a moment before. "N-not bad... don't h-hate R-revon..." He pleaded, pausing in his scrubbing as brother licked his face.
then his eyes caught sight of something else, something green, with... 'Why are you licking her' Her? He wasn't a her, but any protest to the statement he might have had caught in his throat. His hands scrabbled for the cross that hung around his neck for something, anything to clutch at. He ducked his head into the collar of his shirt yet again, starring up at the girl in slight horror, trying to shift his wings which were pinned to the ground to cover himself. This was what he'd been afraid of. "L-lo..." His voice near silent as he gave up onthe cross and clung as his siblings sleeve.

Yeesha was more than a bit... interested. They talked funny, the both of them, and one smelt distinctly of fear. She'd like to get them in the water sometime.
"It?" She looked down at herself, wondering if maybe he meant something she was wearing, then around, heavy tail dragging though it was usually held aloft. "I dunno.. I'm Yeeth... Yeeth...... Yeesha." It took the girl a moment to properly pronounce the sh sound, her tongue hitting against the predator's teeth. "I got a Black Dragon, nyah." She stuck out her tongue to tease. Yeesha didn't care who had what, her dragon was the best in all the world.
Reaching out she grabbed the standing boy's hand. "Wanna play Lake Month-ter?" The question was directed toward both, and she looked down at the figure still laying on the ground as she spoke, tugging the boy's hand eagerly. Lake Monster was the best game in all the world and she'd teach them how to play.

If it was possibly for the dark skinned boy to become pale, his brother's actions has just caused it. Some of the color likely drained from Revon's face as his brother drug hin fingers loose from the clothe and told him to let go. It seemed to echo in his mind as he started to push himself up a bit until he was sitting, his wings sagging until the ground was all that seemed to keep the black plummage propped up. Let go? He peered up at his brother who seemed to have completely forgotten he existed, even after he said he didn't hate him, but he did. It seemed at he did.
The boy's lower lip trembled and he tugged at his sleeve weakly his eyes wobbling a bit. Don't cry, Keivlos wouldn't like it if he cried, he just needed to be better. He had to fix what his brother hated. Dirt, it was the dirt. He was a bad dirty bird. He continued to tug at the shirt one eye twitching slightly as he fought back the urge to cry looking up at the two who seemed to be briefly exchanging words. A game? Lake... Lake meant water. Water was clean.
If he played he might get clean, then Keivlos would like him again. He shoved himself up quickly, wobbling a few steps weakly to grab his brothers sleeve for some support before he spoke, but he froze before doing so. Let go... He couldn't he was still a bad birdy. Keivlos still hated him. He ducked his head down into the collar of his shirt, grabbing at the cross around his neck again to have something, anything to cling to as he oncemore tried to muster up the courage to speak. "Ah.. I..." He managed to start, seeming to put forth a lot of edffort even managing that in the cracked nervous voice. "Puh... puh..." He shifted his weight from one foot to the other, the wings on his back fidgeting as much as his hands where with the cross. "Pl-play... R-eh...vuh...vohn..." He ducked his head in further, watching the girl nervously. "Y-yeeee-shah... l-leh-tuh... R-revon?"

"...Yeetha? ....It is a yeetha....?" Keivlos asked himself quietly. Even though her name had been given he was still unsure about this...girl standing before him. In his mind he didn't really pay attention to the differences in sex, but it was still noted, this creature, even though like him was different, its smell told all. Not just the dying no...the female.
"Dragon?" Keivloses eyes opened slightly. He had never heard such a thing mentioned before...it sounded forbidden, dangerous...lovely. But black...Keivlos didn't like black, no, not at all. His red and gray eyes darted down to his hands covered in the dark color of his skin.
"...Ugly" He hissed. "Why does us skins....looks so ugly." he shook his head trying to hide his hands with his sleeves. If he couldn't see them, as far as he was concerned they were out of existence. So well, as for dragons and the color black he really wasn't sure but...he froze as she reached out and touched him.
...No one had touched him before, except for the golden lady, and maybe Revie. Her hand it felt...Keivlos squeezed the girls palm back. "PLAY! PLAY NOW!" He shouted. Turning around he grabbed a hold of his brother and tugged him by the ears into himself. Proudly he turned around and showed Yeesha his brothers head which he had stuffed in-between his arm pit and chest. "Revie play too, Reivie play tooooo." His eyes grew rather large as he began to run off....thankfully Revon's head stayed where it was for he let go.

"Yeah, you can play."
And then Keivlos was off, leaving her and Revon behind. She hmphed a little at him heading off without her, but got back at him by taking hold of one of Revon's hands and tugging him forward. She reached up to rub one of his ears. "Ya'okay? Leth go! I'll thow you how to play firth-tuh."
And she was off after Keivlos, dragging the other one behind her. She lead him over to a rather large and satisfactory puddle of water, left over from a previous rain. It was a rough circle, three feet in diameter on all sides. She dropped his hand, pointing to the ankle deep, murky looking water. "Kay. The lake." She rested both hands on her chest. "I'm the Lake Month-tur. I hide in the water an' you two gotta try and fight me. If you get me out of the water I die an' then you're the next month-tur. Get it? Okay RAWR!"
With her 'RAWR' Yeesha lept forward into the puddle, creating a wonderful spash that immediatly soaked the bandages on her legs. She ignored it though, intent on playing. Instinctivly she started to get down on her belly, wanting to lurk in the few inches of water, but settled for a crouch, because if she consciously got her bandages wet Daddy would be mad. Her tail swished and splashed through the water, loosening the bandage at the tip until it was a dirty brown streamer, flagging through the water.

He wavered back and forth as his brother spoke quietly. Sadly he could hear was was said, the bit about the ugly skin. Which only made the entire situation worse, and he dropped his eyes to the grass biting at his lip more severely unly a small bit of red shown onhis bottom lip. Though he quickly sucked in his lip to hide it. Then the shout, and tugging so that he almost lost his balance, and fell into the headlock his brother placed him in momentarily.
Most children would be bothered by this, but instead Revon almost smiled, thinking perhaps his brother had forgiven him for his imperfection. For being bad. That perhaps he didn't hate him. the chime of him playing as well furthered the quiet smile but then he was released, and he stumbled forwar da few steps. His wings flapped a bit to kee him from taking another dive into the dirt. Not again, Keivlos would hate him once more. He managed to gather his balance as the girl rubbed at one of the feathered bunches that lined his head as ears. He blinked curiously at the girl his mouth hanging slightly open before he realize that this girl might just be making fun of him. Thinking he was a stupid little bird.
A bad birdy.
The hair on the back of his neck stood up as he tucked his head down bobbing his head in answer before he was drug off after her. He was always ok, no matter what happened. Because not being ok would be bad, they wouldn't like him. He'd just be a stupid little child if he did that.
He stumbled a step having not expected to be tugged along by the hand suddenly, before he trailed after her, surprise showing on the pale haired boy's face. Then they reached the puddle. Which was labeled the lake. He blinked at her confused once more, still trying to duck away in his collar, and sidle to behind his brother as she explained the game.
Drag her out? But she might not like him if he did, and... There wasn't a chance to say otherwise for at that point she let out rawr and dived into the muck creating a small splash that hit the light colored pants he wore. He shifted a bit anxiously before turning his gaze to his brother. If Keivlos played. He would to.

Keivlos, being the first to run down towards the area, had actually missed the large puddle completely. Instead running down he had slipped and fell completely rolling off in the other direction into the mud until he came to a sudden stop with a nice loud thunk. Some nasty swamp looking gunk smeared across his cheek along with a little dribble of blood from his nose. He wiped away both the with the back of his hand, shrieking in delight as he noted them, had there been more time to examine these contents that came from his body he would have done so. However, the sound of a Yeesha splashing around was enticing enough to make him for get about the red shiny.
He scrambled to where the other two were playing, surprising his brother again by pushing him into the muck with Yeesha. He followed along piling on top of Revom, what was the point of the game...heck if he knew, Keivlos simply giggled as he wallowed like a pig in the mud. "....Keivie is bad birdy...." The raven grinned impishly, "...Lake monster is naughty evil creature too!" He snapped suddenly splashing Yeesha with mud. It wasn't meant to be a mean gesture, infact, it was a rather sweet one for as he did so he laughed and jumped onto of Yeesha.
He beat his wings as he crawled over the small child and headed towards the back of the puddle, he grabbed at her leg and began to pull her out of the muck. The bandage on Yeesha's tail swung around as she splashed and smacked him in his bad eye, the gray one...he screamed for a moment but quickly began to laugh again. "....Yeetha is fun!" He smiled crookedly.
Ah, if only he had known Madeline sitting on the park bench was preparing to break up his fun.

Yeesha shrieked with delight as she was called a 'naughty evil creature' and doused in mud and wet. She welcomed his pounce whole heartedly and grapled with him for a moment, tail thunking heavily on the ground before he got the better of her and began dragging.
The bandages were thuroughly dirty and ragged now, and the one at her tail had finally fluttered off, revealing icky scabs and wounds dotted along the circumfrance of the area. One or two scales were completely missing and that was possibly worse off than the rest, covered in thick smelly ointment meant to heal.
"Ahhhh! Roar! No!" She rolled onto her back and squirmed in her attempt to get free.
Hennet would have been on his feet, reading to break them up with Madeline if... he hadn't fallen asleep. Poor man hadn't been sleeping well lately and in lue of the sunny warmth of day that park bench made a mighty fine bed.

the fact the other parents would have, and planned to do something only proved that Revon's keeper was a failure as a parent. His eyes where still on the book even with the loud thumps, and shrieks of the mud battle. When he did bother to glance up the first thing that came to his mind was how he'd just given Revon a bath that morning, and now he was filthy again. He'd need to lecture that boy about getting dirty later. The fact that Keivlos' nose was dripping some blood, and the gators tail seemed to have some wierd disease didn't worry him at all. Nor did he worry that Revon had befallen some ill fate liek the other two, nope... He was back to reading his book as if they were playing with posies like well behaved kids. Wait... No not posies, he didn't need that boy any more feminine than he was, he already adored that pink crayon of his too much.
Revon had only seemingly gotten into a safe spot when he was sent, arms and wings flaily as a muted shriek escaped him into the mud. "Aaauck!" Splash! He started to push himself up, but then was sent back down as the weight hit him, and his hands slid in the much. If Keivlos hadn't been so eager to play with Yeesha he might have drowned the other raven since the boy's face was pushed under momentarily as well from the pressure.
He gasped as he pushed himself back out of the muck, spitting out some as well. The ick dripped from the now two toned hair, and his cheeks as he looked for a moment as his sibling and the girl rough housing. Bad, bad... That's what he said, was it good to be bad then? But it couldn't be. He squinted a bit trying to figure it out, but was hitin the face with some of the splashed mud and gave up.
Instead he timidly tried to hop at the pair, attempting to push Yeesha out to help his brother while slipping a bit in the much. Oh he'd been in trouble for that later.

Keivlos reached down and picked up the dirty white bandage which had been around Yeesha's tail. He stared at it cluelessly for a moment and then turned his mis-matched eyes to gaze at the place where the bandage had fallen off. It was....any other child may have picked a word best falling in line with a synonym of horrifying, yet for Keivlos it was. "...Rotty flesh! Rotty flesh!" The Raven was almost to eager to snatch at Yeesha's tail. Which he couldn't quite seem to hold onto for very long. Its appearance, its aroma, to any other animal disgusting...but for Keivlos it was... similar to smelling the scent of fresh cookies baking.
He nuzzled his face against the girls tail and then shrieked delightedly as he pounced and went for the shoulders, his face bumping up into his brothers as he did so. His hands pressed against her for a moment before he held up her bandage in front of her face and then promptly put in into his mouth. He chewed on it wickedly while little fingers poked and prodded Yeesha trying to delve into her skin. "...Rotten lake moster...she is fa-lin-g apart." He crooned to himself...well at least tried to for an angry voice erupted from the crowed. A tall blonde woman stood at the edge tapping her heals, pearl earrings and necklace shining in the sun.
"Revon, Keivlos! What IZ it yuh two think youz are doing!" She must have been angry for her accent was slipping through. Wooridly she looked at Yeesha. Bandages...being pulled off...in the mud!? "OUT! Out ziz isntant!" she shouted crossing her arms. "You too!" She stomped her foot angry at Yeesha. Her child or not, she was still not going to see such a young and refined lady aggravating her wounds more.

Her tail was being grabbed at, and this was not acceptable. Any other time it would have been fine but as soon as she began paying mind to her tail she realized that it hurt. The bandages were gone and mud was in them.
Suddenly horrified she went slightly stiff. Daddy had warned about infections. She'd had an infection before, it was a dangerous, horrible, miserable thing. She was just about ready to smack Keivlos with her tail when he tackled her and she was distracted again.
Rotting? Okay, now she was a bit more insulted. She wasn't rotting, she couldn't help it, she'd been sick! "Not rotting!" She grunted and grabbed Keivlos' shoulders tumbling him over with a not-playful-growl. She was very sensative about her condition, it was a mar in her otherwise perfect scaley armour. "It'll get better!"
And then some strange woman was coming up to them and had the audacity to stomp her foot and yell at her. The young Gater child's mood was officially spoiled and not much else could fix it. This was the last straw. "You're not the bothh of me!" She reached down, scooped up a great handful of mud and slung it with as much aim as a 6 year old sitting in the mud could do at the woman.
And promptly got up and ran back toward the saftey of the other two, cradling her own tail in her hands as though to protect it from any further insult.
