Fedha had been dreading the trip for a while, something about it seemed so famaliar. Each step that Denge brought him he felt as if he'd taken it before, and he was beginning to learn that his dreams had something to do with it. It didn't matter any longer, his mum was having a good time. They were headed toward the pridelands now, the day was slowly dying the sun would be gone soon. He could see the pride rock in the distance, riding upon his mother's back.

At least their parents were letting them explore on their own more often now. Now that they were old enough to be weaned from their mother's milk, that is.

Poor Jini, Mosi was such a bossy big sister sometimes when she got her mind set on something, and due to strange sleeping patterns lately she was more cranky than usual to boot. She'd been silent and broody lately, until she was finally starting to fully resemble her father more than her mother, who she'd always favored more in personality.

The little female was stalking through the grasses, parting them as she went. She looked like a horribly small huntress rather than the energetic youth she normally portrayed. Jini had most likely been forced along, one would be able to say.

~We'd better not run into Bari or Ezzy today.~

She didn't have enough patience. She didn't want to lash out at Ezzy, and well, she didn't feel like putting up with Bari, period.

Jini loped along behind his sister uncomfortably. Normally he didn't mind going with her-actually, he normally had a lot of fun. But since he wasn't one to really stand up for himself times when she was cranky could be...hard. She could get mad at him for anything and he'd take it humbly and even accept that he did something wrong...even when he didn't. How unlike the rest of his family he was!

With a sheepish smile he decided to risk a question, though he kept his voice down incase she was stalking something, "Sissy...where are we going today...?"

Denge yawned and after a little bit she began to slow, finally coming to a stop. "We should rest here for a while, Fedha'Kialio." She knew how picky he was about his name, and how he needed it to be said fully so he would not get grouchy. "And then we can go back to see the family." She layed down slowly, eyes shutting automatically. Denge often got very tired, and she slept her days away more often than not.

Fedha said nothing as his mother launched into their plan of action, and a moment after he felt her even breathing underneith his small, skinny frame he slinked to the ground. He stretched out slowly, frowning openly at the gross lands around him. They were nothing like his beloved homelands.

He wasn't all too sure about exploring on his own, his dreams the past nights of traveling had been of meeting two birds, and he had a feeling it was a life changing matter for some reason. But why would he meet a bird, and why would that change his life? He shrugged his boney shoulders, lanky body moving forward. His eyes moved dully back and forth, keeping an eye on the area that surrounded him.

Soon enough he was out of Denge's sight, and only a little longer he would be out of her hearing range, too.

Mosi, upon hearing her brother's inquiry, slowed her steps gradually, finally coming to a complete stop a few feet from where they'd been when he asked. In silence she kept her back to him, only the tip of her tail (which was hanging behind her hind legs) and her ears twitching to show signs that she wasn't about to drop dead on the spot.

~Where are we going....~ She sighed, head sagging down to hang in front of her shoulders. ~I have no idea.~

"We've been almost everywhere in the Pridelands! The Termite Mounds, Pride Rock, the river, the watering hole, isn't there anyplace INTERESTING around here that we haven't been or forbidden from ever visiting again?" She sneered in distaste and swept sap colored eyes to survey the surrounding land. Nothing, a big old stretch of nothing, highlighted by a huge dry looking crevice in the-- GASP! "Whoah... now there's someplace we haven't been...!"

. . .

Slow grin.

"Oh.... someplace new." She grinned, her usual toothy grin that she wore whenever she was planning something that the adults probably wouldn't approve of. Oh, but Jini would know that look, and he'd probably talk her out of her brilliant plan if she gave him a chance! T.T; Okay, so what were her options? Don't give him a chance, of course!

A playful grin was sent her brother's way before Mosi whipped back around and took off at an energetic pace, not running (she didn't want to leave him behind) but certainly not walking anymore, and rather blindly at that.

"... ComeonJinilet'sgolet'sgo!!"

Uh oh. Mosi had that look again. She was going to go do something troublesome, wasn't she? Why couldn't they do something nice and quite for once? Like...watching the fish swim in the pond or...taking a nap? Ok, so Jini wasn't the most exciting guy, but not all things fun had to be running off somewhere dangerous, right?

But before he could say anything, getting the cute-worried look of his she raced off. Oh no! There she went again! She didn't even give him a chance to change his mind! "MOSI! Wait for meeeee!" He cried out, running after her.

The white fringe of hair fell lightly into his eyes as they slowly sunk to the ground, letting his mind wonder about some of the stranger dreams he had been having; he was also trying to get rid of the itch between his shoulder blades.

Watching his feet instead of where he was going would prove to be the worst possible thing to do, seeing as two cubs were headed straight his way. Too bad Fedha didn't have some kind of sixth sense about this kind of thing, yeah?

Waiting was going to turn out to be very doable, it seemed, since Mosi suddenly found herself plowing right into a wall of gray. A rock?

Squawking, for Mosi was quite startled, in shock Mosi quickly found her legs tangling with those of the Mistweaver youth, her momentum sending them crashing to the ground and HER head over heels. She landed in the grass on her back with an audible THUMP.

"Ohh...." She groaned, head held between her paws as if it would stop the spinning from the sudden tumble. "Stupid, stupid, stupid!" She growled... at no one in particular?

Jini saw trouble coming and was able to skid to a stop and prevent himself from being intangled with the other two. Oh no! His ears flickered back in dismay as the cubs were forced to tumble about before his eyes. When then finally seemed to stop moving, which was only a few seconds later he got onto his paws, hovering around them like a worried mother hen, "You ok...?" The question was directed to both the newcommer and toward Mosi. Well, it seemed like Mosi had inheritted at least some of Ada's clumsyness.

Fedha, upon impact, had let out a dangerous gasp of air, big in proportion to a normal gasp. In fact, the air had been knocked out of him by the other! As she continued past him he slammed forward into the ground, skidding a little ways with eyes wide and slightly glossy. If he could breath right then he'd probably be mewing to high heaven, for that was really not pain he'd ever experienced.

His face contorted into a slight rage, and a slight panic as he tried to regain his breath. He made gasping sounds as he gulped down the air greedily, fur bristling as he tried to scramble to his paws, hissing all the while. "What kind of lion comes running about not watching where they are going! You could have killed me!" He sneered out, not shouting and only sounding a little cold.

His eyes flashed onto the other, he was certain this one was an idiot. "Do you think you'd be okay if you'd just run into another, or another had just run into you... hard?" He quirked a brow, his tone plainly questioning but something seemed as if he was trying to hurt the other's feelings, with out meaning to.

Mosi grumbled and slowly rolled to her paws, pulling herself up. She seemed to be ignoring Fedha's hissy fit, that was, until he started yelling at Jini, at which point Mosi whirled on the other with a glare, stalking forward and putting herself between them. Angry Amber eyes met with steel blue.

"Watch it, jerk! It's not his fault you're blind, deaf, and cranky!" She hissed... growled... both, no one yelled at her baby brother! D<

Jini let out a small breath of relief, his ears drooping slightly. Good, it looked like no one was hurt. But just as he had almost calmed down the new cub started yelling at him. He jumped, startled. The entire thing had not been his fault, but...it wasn't a big deal. He didn't want a fight to ensue about it or anything, "S-sorry...I'll be more careful..." There he went again, not standing up for himself.

He looked a little dismayed as Mosi hurried over. He ducked his head sheepishly, "S-sissy, it's ok...don't call him names..." Gah, this was going to be messy! Why did sissy have to be so firey like momma?

Fedha had not been yelling at all, he wasn't one to yell when he got angry. He just seemed to be rather mean about it. He raised a slow brow at the female, snorting lightly. "I do believe you're the one at fault, dear. You ran into me, and not the other way around. So perhaps you need your eyes checked. Though I must admit that perhaps I need my ears checked, seeing as I should have heard someone as..." He paused, making a slight face as his eyes flicked over her. "As ungraceful, shall we say, as yourself came heading my way." A slow smile slipped onto his maw, not bothering to correct her of the 'jerk' or 'cranky' bit. He was neither, as far as he was concerned.

His eyes flickered to the male of the two and his grin became a bit delighted. This was amusing, an older sister sticking up for a younger brother. He didn't think his older (but in truth littlier in size) sister would stick up for him. Hell, sometimes he thought she wanted to push him into the waterfall in their homelands. "Yeah Sissy." He purred out, looking back to her. "Name-calling is no good." Oh Fedha could be such an arse.

((*dies* Oh Lord, |D; I read that, made note of it, and STILL screwed up that last post. *waves it off* Sorry guys! *rolls with it*))

Mosi glared, her lip curling slightly on one side with a soft growl. She wasn't liking anything about this situation, and her bad mood didn't help. Then again, she'd never claimed to be without her own share of blame, only that Jini didn't deserve to be picked at because of it. All the same, a defensive and dangerous gurgled rumble seeded itself deep within her chest and throat, threatening words muttered past clenched teeth:

"I'll give you ungraceful you--"

"S-sissy, it's ok...don't call him names..."

So Mosi stopped. Her glaring didn't cease, however.

"Like I care. If you don't demonstrate manners then you don't get any in return." She shot back sharply with a lower volume, tail lashing about angrily behind her, though her ears eased back to rest on her skull. He was the one that started all this... snapping at Jini just for asking if they were okay...

Jini couldn't help but feel awkward. This other cub wasn't being very nice. He knew not everyone had to be but...he really didn't see the point in being mean to others. Did it really accomplish anything? Ah well...he really couldnt' stop them, could he?

"Making fun of someone isn't nice either," He murmured in the other cubs direction, avoiding eye contact. He really wasn't sure this would go well at all. Mosi could be rather...spirited when she wanted to be and she was in a bad mood today to boot. That just reaked of bad news.
