...could possibly be worse? Having your brain and body eaten by zombies or having an angry poltergeist posess your body and have you belly flop onto a floor covered with large spikes?
Which would be a worse way to die?

Hmm, this is a hard question! xd On the one hand, dying on the spikes would be slower, but you wouldn't be able to notice if you were possessed. (Would you?) On the other, you'd know right before you died, but would die pretty quickly.

I think zombies will be more cruel because your body would still walk after death

And your body would still have to function to some degree after death and that would be cruel and just wrong.

Yeah, either way, it kind of sucks, but I would go with the stakes myself, because it'd be a quick death, even if painful, and my body would be unusable to the zombies that have lately been brought up.
