A good idea, but I'd suggest making this in the Petitions sub-forum of Site Feedback, so a multitude of people can see and sign.
3nodding I believe "A Petition for A Reasonable Seperation of Guides and Resources" woud be met with enthusiasum.
For one thing, it doesn't make much sense for a resource guide to be posted
only in a forum which has nothing to do with the subject matter.
You don't see Admin or Mods posting relevant threads in a forum to which it is not related.
For example, does Lanzer post his Work Diary thread in the Exchange?
No, of couse not, it isn't relevant to the Exchange.
He posts it in the forum where it belongs, Q&A.
Similarly, the Game Item Exchange sub-forum appears in
three forums! The Exchange, Gaming Discussion, and the Gaia Towns forums.
Each of those forums being relevant to the subject matter.
However, you do
not see the Game Item Exchange sub-forum located in Music forum.
I hope I don't need to point out why this is.
xp I say it's about time that a reasonable seperation of the Guides and Resources sub-forum of the Q&A forum is made.
Put the Price Guides and How To Exchange Guides in a sub-forum in the Exchange, where the most people who use them don't have to leave the forum to look at one.
Put the Gaming Guides in a sub-forum in the Towns forum, and the Gaming Discussion, where all the collectors can find them, and they also don't have to leave the forum to go find one.
They don't need to be removed from the Q&A sub-forum at all.
The Game Item Exchange sub-forum is proof itself that a sub-forum can exist in more than one forum at the same time.
But...for the love of all Gaian, give us our Guides in their relevant forums!
