As much as I agree that Sony didn't copy Nintendo (to an extent), that article is...less than solid.
1. It comes from a site with the subtitle The "Hardcore" Gaming Experience. It's gaming. TO THE MAX!
2. They claim that this is the end-all to the war. People will have their opinions, and this isn't changing anything. It's coming from Sony, not a neutral industry specialist.
3. Nintendo copied 3D graphics? How the deuce do they figure? Where else were graphics supposed to go?
While I don't think Sony copied Nintendo directly, I still think that if the Wii hadn't had so much positive reactions from the controller, Sony never would have implemented it in their own controllers. If they had it in 1999, why wasn't it implemented with the Ps2?

Like I said in the console wars sticky, the most important thing to me as a gamer is the end product.
I don't care who copied what, or what tech each system uses, as long as it results in an enjoyable experience for me.

Nintendo had 3D first anyways, so Sony's just retarded rolleyes Star Fox for the SNES anyone? It was the first game to had a 3D accelerator chip in its cartridge which make the the first console game to ever utulize 3D. It was released in 1993 so Sony, you lose this round....
