H'lo, and welcome to my oh-so-organized trip to the beach! Today is the only day we've had in weeks that is actually sunny and warm; perfect weather. I'll be driving, and we have a large car to fit in many people and monkeys <3
Anyone can come along, owners and monkeys of all ages.
I have planned a few activities, including:
- A rockpool examination; touchy-feely for the little 'uns :3
- A supervised splash in the sea.
- A sandcastle competition, in teams =] Equipment provided.
- Shell collecting competition!
[You will have to draw the sandcastle and shells etc <3]
I've also made a few gifts for the winners of the competitions, mostly for the monkeys ;3
We'll wait til' a few monkeys and owners arrive, then set off.

The car was parked just outside the HQ entrance, doors open and waiting.
Jamie leaned against the car door, Tou sitting on the top chewing a breadstick.
"Mum, will any of the infants be coming? I .. quite like looking after them."
"Not sure Princess, maybe! I'm sure some people will turn up soon, we'll just have to wait."

Claia ran to them as fast as she could, one hand outstretched in a wave. "Jamie! Hiii!" she cried. Behind her, a little more slowly, was Chiyo, stumbling in her new skull. Her big black eyes shone though teh eyeholes as she stared around at her surroundings.
"Wow, a trip to the beach! What a great idea, Jamie, Chiyo'll have so much fun. Say hi, Chiyo."
Chiyo smiled politely, and stared at Jamie. Slowly she hung her head, lookng away.
Claia leaned in closer and whispered in Jamie's ear, "Umm...Chiyo can't speak yet. She's a little self-concious about that. So...just make sure no one...well, makes fun of her, okay? Thanks." Straightening and smiling, she said, "Don't be shy, Chi..."

Sporting a black bikini, an equally black sarong and sunglasses atop her head. Kor made her way out of the HQ and over to the car. "GOOD MORNING LADIES!" she shouts enthusiastically as she pushes her foot further into her left flip-flop. "Just out of interest..." she says, eyes darting shiftily from side to side. "Am I dressed appropriately?" she grins, somewhat dorkily as she looks down to her very small cut bikini top. Showing a bit too much of 'those' and the down below section was luckily covered with the sarong.
Hanyuu trails behind, finding it easier to walk on her bandaged leg now yet going slower than ever before. "Why are you making me go to the beach??..." she asks with a futile grunt.
"Well," Kor replies in her usually up-beat tone. "You'll enjoy the sand, the sea and you can meet new SMs!" she bounced a little on the balls of her feet as Hanyuu came to lie down beside her feet.
"Whoop de doo..." she says in her most favoured sarcastic tone. Her tail curling around her body as she closes her eyes. It was too hot to do anything... Well, other than sleep.

Jamie's eyes lit up as the arrivals, well, arrived.
"H'lo Claia, glad to see you here! " she said, tickling Chiyo's chin. "Wow, yur' a cute one aren't ye?" Jamie turned to Claia again and added quietly "Sure, I'll make sure she's fine"
Then she turned to see Kit, and a rather bored looking Hanyuu.
"Dressed PERFECTLY, dear Kittehkins! And Hana, I know it's SO childish but we need monkeys like you to .. help?"

Zephyr glanced around curiously as she was led up to the group. She reached up for a moment to fidget with her skull, trying to get it positioned just so - if only it wouldn't keep slipping out of place! She huffed a moment and glanced up at her keeper for the day. "Don't wanna go to the beach."
Jaclyn, one of Jiora's friends, rolled her eyes and looked down at the skull monkey child. "Zeph, you gotta hang out with kids your age. There'll prob'ly be some on this trip." She paused a moment, glancing towards the rest of the group for a moment before looking back at her young charge. "Besides, the beach is awesome. I promise you'll love it."
Zephyr sighed and scowled into the distance. "Sure. The way a fly loves a spider web."
Jaclyn just shook her head and ignored the comment.

Jamie smiled dorkily at the child, known as Zephyr. She glanced at the un-familliar owner, rather confused.
"Yer' not the little 'uns normal keeper, are ye'? Babysitting I guess?"
The girl propped her glasses up on her head, and rummaged in the boot of the car before producing a plate of rather burnt cookies.
"Help yourself everyone, these WERE for the pic-nic but there's plenty other stuff."

Jaclyn nodded, just about to respond when Zephyr piped up. "No, no. She's kidnapping me, you see? You should call my mother right now."
Jaclyn rolled her eyes and patted the SM on her head, chuckling as Zephyr squealed and rearranged her skull for what must have been the hundredth time that morning. "Yeah, babysitting. Jiora wanted to take her son to some museum, and Zeph didn't wanna go. So I got stuck with her."
Zephyr eyed the cookies for a moment before sampling one - bad idea. She managed a polite, if strained response. "Nice cookies..." Now if only she could find somewhere to discreetly discard of the rest of the burnt treat..

Snorting happily at the compliment aimed at the cookies, Jamie smiled and nodded at the owner. "Great fun, neh?"
Tou, who had been quietly lurking on top of the car glanced uneasily at the cookies. She noticed the monkey Zephyr, who had un-fortunately chosen to take one. Having tested many of Jamie's baked 'goods', Toulouze was rather crafty in disgarding them unnoticed. She leaned down a little, nearer Zeph.
"Shove it up the back of your skull until you have a chance to throw it away" she advised, a sly grin on her face.

"Oh, lots of fun," chirped Jaclyn. Though that may have had more to do with a trip to the beach than taking care of Zephyr..
Zephyr glanced towards Toulouze for a moment, nodding a bit in acknowledgement of the older monkey. She waited until Jaclyn and Jamie both seemed distracted before tucking the cookie away beneath her skull. Now she'd have to find somewhere to throw it away soon though - it was making her skull sit out of place again!

Jamie babbled away to Jaclyn, about the weather, fiid and how she hoped more people would arrive.
Meanwhile, Tou nodded in content as the child stashed away the cookie.
"Don't worry, I know it's rather uncomfy but you get used to it." she paused, scratching her ear with her hind-left paw.
"So, what's your name? Were you dragged along here too, or do you actually want to go?"

Jaclyn nodded where neccesary, smiling readily and contributing to the conversation when the chance arose.
Zephyr shook her head at the pair, tilting her head back to get a better look at Tou for a moment. "I'm Zephyr. And I like to think I was kidnapped and dragged here. Jacky keeps saying it's just babysitting though."

Tou snorted at the babysitting comment, and then replied "Nice name. I'm Toulouze. Or Tou. Or Touly. Or Princess. The list goes on, you see. Ah, babysitting. I like looking after toddlers, thur' sweet. Yourself?"

Calli, tugging at her new beanie to it shades her eyes a little, sneaks up behind everyone and sits down. She remains silent, determined to remain unnoticed.

Zephyr flicked an ear as she listened to the various nicknames Tou was rattling off. "I dunno. I just go by Zephyr or Zeph." Never Zephy. Only Ji was allowed to get away with that one. She flicked her ears again for a moment. "I guess toddlers aren't so bad." Especially since she'd been one herself a day or so ago.

Tou nodded at Zeph again. "But Zephys' a cute name, not that Zephyr isn't. Just sounds really sweet!" she smiled, ears twitching.
She sensed a new monkey around, but just shrugged to herself, licking her paws un-lady like.
