"Yes, linen." Kia replied, grinning down at Taka as she crawled. She didn't mind him on his back, with her on top, not at all! Even if she had read that book... and even if they had shared a rather intimate memory like this... Kia didn't particually care about either of those facts at the moment. The closer to him the better!
But she really didn't want him to pass out again, so when Kia had crawled up enough to be able to kiss him, she wriggled to his side and leaned over to very lightly kiss one cheek, her arm wrapping around his stomach. He wasn't getting far this time! "Because. It feels nice, I like being free, and there nothing with my chest at all. I was thinking about getting a n****e pireced, Nyoka getting one and I'd do it with her."
Kia grinned, and poked lightly at Taka's sides again. "Why? Don't like my top?"

Taka was about to say something about how it was rather pointless to run around with linen just because it felt nice, she might as well just run around without a shirt..but before he could, or could even figure out that it would be a dumb thing to say, his face started to resemble that of a marshmallow. He just stared at her with 'blinkblinkblink' eyes, a clueless look on his face as he paled with that statement, looking very much like a fish.
He remembered a few girls at the club who had told him they got their nipples pierced, and where most of the guys thought it was cool, he always found it really WEIRD. Almost disturbing. After a few seconds of being silent and thinking about this, it occured to him that KIA was doing this, the innocent girl who usually only cared about cheesecake and proving him wrong..
And he burst into laughter. The paleness was gone as he laughed, not finding it weird at the current second - right now, he thought it was hilarious.
Trying to regain himself, he added in between a laugh, "Oh..no..it's a wonderful top, really." But the fact that Kia was going to get her nipples pierced soon returned to him and he returned to the laughing right after the 'really' got out.

Kia stared at Taka's face, her smile vanishing slightly. It had gone white, white as a puffy cloud. She leaned forward to kiss one cheek...
Then fell back slightly when he started to laugh. Kia blinked, stared, tried to figure out what was funny, and eventually decided that this was one of those pouting moments. She even crossed her arms, wondering if that would help her look even ... whatever she was feeling.
"...you not like the top?" Kia asked, staring downwards at her top and tugging at the flimsy material. The pout turned into a frown, as she slowly started to undo the gold bands, unsure if she should even do that. "...should I take it off?"
Kia took off the bottom gold band, and then looked up at the laughing Taka... and fell right off his lap. She scrambled around on the ground for a while, flushing a deep red and feeling slightly sulky. Finally, she glanced up at Taka and the oddest thought popped into her head. Nyoka wouldn't stand for this! Kia shouldn't either! She had to act!
So she pounced Taka, pushing him onto his back and sitting on his tummy. Kia paused there, grinning down at him. She fingered the other gold band. "I like my top, so there!"
Even still, she tugged off the upper band as well, so that the fabric was only hanging there, balanced on her shoulders. Kia grinned wider, looking very mischievous. "I'll take top off here and now to prove to you that it a good top?"

Taka's laughing had started to subside a little, changing into more of a quiet little snicker as he couldn't get the idea of Kia getting her n****e pierced out of his mind - it was just VERY funny. He could see Nyoka doing it, she was weird and outrageous like that..but Kia? Oh, it was just too funny.
At first, he didn't hear her ask if he didn't like the top, as he concentrated on stopping the laughter, knowing very well that Kia probably wasn't too happy with him just -LAUGHING-..but when he heard her ask if she should take it off, he finished his last little snicker and shook his head, obviously not taking her seriously.
"No, it's not the top, really-" He started to say, but just snickered again, quickly deciding this was the LAST snicker, and he was really going to stop now...hopefully. Of course, he didn't have another chance to laugh, as he was pushed onto his back as Kia sat on his tummy.
Feeling a bit clueless now, he just stared up at her with a clueless, blinking look, starting to say "It's a fine to-" until he realized that she was messing with the bands.
WAITASECOND.
His eyes suddenly widened -very- wide as he realized what she was thinking of doing, and that she wasn't kidding now, and his cheeks started to burn a light red. "It's a GREAT top, you don't have to prove anything! Keep it on!" He stuttered, the red on his cheeks darkening a little.

"Are you sure it a great top? I can change it. Right now. Have a spare in my bag. I can sit here, take top off and put new one on." Kia grinned, but her fingers had already started tightening up the gold bands again. She reached into her pocket, tugging out the spare white top and tugged it over her head, arranging it so that it hid everything that Taka seemed to not want to see. He'd have to get used to it, but maybe only little bits at a tie.
Kia shifted off Taka's tummy again, starting to laugh. She sat next to him, leaning down to tickle his tummy lightly with one of her hands, the other reaching to his face so that she could gently touch the red cheeks with her fingers. "It ok, the top stays on."
She lay down next to him, and wrapped an arm around his middle, tugging him close. Kia lay happily like that for a while, gazing at him and trying to make sure that he wasn't going to go anywhere. Finally, she whispered, "Next time Kapu locks you in your Momma's house, send me message. I go and stay with you so that you arn't bored."
Kia then went quiet again, and started... "And..."
She stopped again, suddenly going shy. There was one point where she could say it, but now, she felt as shy about it as she had before she'd told him the first time. So, because she assumed he didn't know the Egyptian words for it, she continued, "I love you. I never let Kapu get you."
