So i tryed out that program called Adobe Illustrator for the first time. And i luuuuuurrrve it. I think it will take some getting used to though...

If you gave those watery blue eyes some kind of contrast it would improve the illustration 400%.

as for they eyes, i dont mind the color, but it would be nice to make them look less vacant.

The nose is well done though.

i think a darker shadow below the chin would help a lot along with brightening the eyes. right now the entire image is sort of flat, it does need a lot more contrast.
i'm not a huge fan of illustrator, i just never really got the hang of it and i could do a vector illustration in flash or freehand much faster, but i guess it's good to know something about all progs.

i'm not a huge fan of illustrator, i just never really got the hang of it and i could do a vector illustration in flash or freehand much faster, but i guess it's good to know something about all progs.

I'm a little more proficient in freehand because that is what i learned on... but i dont own it. ;___; My college owns it.

Pageboy. Thank yoooouuuu. I didnt really know what to do to the eyes but iconoclast says contrast! So i'm going to try it.

Illustrator is great fun! Although it does take a lot of getting used to - I'm stil nowhere near mastering the Pen tool and all the other features xp

The portrait looks pretty good, nice and stylised, although I think the eyes would look better in a darker/stronger blue - at the moment they're getting a bit lost with all the strong colours around them.
