Why is it that after all Alex has done he still has fans? 1 he hurt Mia, 2 he betrayed them all, 3 he seeks to rule the planet, 4 he lets them do all the hard work of lighting the lighthouses whilst he could teleport to them and light them himself, 5 he said the common villan line "Do you honestly believe that a hundred of you could stop me!?". I really don't get it. And why doesn't HE ever fight? He would be a good fighter then why isn't he? I truly don't get it...

Well, there's already an Alex appreciation thread... but this is a bit different...
And Alex is not evil! He's hot, he's cool, I love his attitude, he's funny and he's smart and can easily worm his way out of a discussion even with people like Jenna hanging on like a pitbull, and you don't have a freaking clue why he wanted the power! He could have wanted the power to do good, and a crummy little storm wasn't going to hurt Vale, they've suffered far worse storms! Like the one with this little BOULDER...
And Mia was an idiot anyway. She knew that if the Lighthouse was lit, healing waters would run anew, but she still ran around healing people and being tired... the Mercury Clan must have been masochists. Alex did the right thing, he freed Mia of her duties, so Mia should be thankful! She's far too judgmental...
And WHERE, exactly, WHERE does Alex say he wants to rule the "planet"? He never does! And Weyard is not a planet, it's flat and planets are round!
And, come on, do you really think you can just warp to the top of the lighthouses? Alex's warp only works for a short distance... didn't you even notice how Alex had to warp with Saturos TWICE to get onto the elevator? If his warp was that great, he would just have warped right off the lighthouse, and anyway the others probably wouldn't trust Alex with the stars! Saturos and Menardi couldn't even trust Felix after a while! (Though he had the Jupiter Star)
Since when is "do you think a bajillion of you could stop me?" is a common villain line? I've never heard it before, and I found it funny when Alex said that. Alex is so cool! xd
And he DOES fight. Hello, how do you think Jenna and Kraden managed to get away from Venus Lighthouse? A bunch of people were trying to stop them! And remember something cool, like a GEYSER? Exactly.
In conclusion, Alex is an enigma, he is NOT evil... because it's not been proved and never will be, so long as Camelot doesn't make a GS3. And who knows, they could make GS3 with Alex not evil!

And that's another take of "Why Alex isn't evil" by loyal Alex fans, by yours truly Kyarorain. =D
I personally like him too, he's just so... xd He can piss off every single cast of the whole game(Either Isaac, Felix or the Proxians), get away with it and still keep his hair silky as ever!~ whee I've said it before, I'll say it again; He reminds me too much of Hao gonk I've been convinced they both uses hair conditionner, both are extremelly mild facing all kinds of situations, both's personnality is very(too) cool, both act(or maybe they just are) smart, both command, take use of others and have the gift to anger/piss off others.
Conclusion: Characters with these personality are just the kewlest people there is. 3nodding

He never acctually battles. He doesn't ever really help. He heals you once and I've never needed it anyway. Well he can't even teleport properly anyway you said it yourself. Anyway he ran away from Mia before. Silly him. He abandoned them all afterwards and didn't even think to take the star with him. He has an aditude problem. Though I must admit, he was the only one that had enough sense to leave sol sanctom as it colapsed. A little storm!!?? Huh! I'm sure he intended to destroy Vale! But Garet and Jenna'll get him in my fanfic!!! MWA HA HA HAHA!!! And Ivan will contribute!!! Garet'll really get him though... surprised

I think I disliked Alex when I learned he betrayed Mia and his clan. Betraying's a very harsh word when you think about it and if it's used, it means it needs to be.
Another thing that's corrupted my fragile little mind is the fandom. Fandom has mostly portrayed Alex as evil, and I'll use a known author as an example. Echoes Of Light by Midnight C uses Alex as evil.
But then again, another well known author Triad Orion, used Alex as a good and kind hearted person in his Trials Of Destiny story.
I try to steer away from writing about him... I don't want to upset fans... not that I have any...

O_o I broke a tie...I thought for sure the rabid Alex fans would be all over this one... Singsaith I think I disliked Alex when I learned he betrayed Mia and his clan. Betraying's a very harsh word when you think about it and if it's used, it means it needs to be. There you go. Everything I was going to say in a nutshell. Well, not quite everything. My first problem is that he doesn't really show up enough in the story for me to be seriously one way or the other. He gets a little in the beginning, a little in random places in the middle and a little at the end. So, second flaw: too little character development. Do we ever even get to know Alex's past? Singsaith Another thing that's corrupted my fragile little mind is the fandom. Fandom has mostly portrayed Alex as evil, and I'll use a known author as an example. And since Alex is ambitious for no given reason, that's even less reason to trust him. Sure, the mysterious aura thing works wonders on fandom *coughKratoscough*, but in this case, it's just not helping. Y'know, I wrote a lot for someone who's not supposed to care... O_o
