A story of a young boy by the name of Daisuke who turns into an art thief named Dark at the age of 14. Now hw has to steal certain art pieces for his family. There's a lot more to it then that, but I don't want to give away spoilers, nor talk about the Het stuff due to this being a slash guild. ^^


I've read up to the fifth manga in this series, and am dieing to see if the anime does the series justice considering the fact that I don't think the manga has finished in Japan yet... It might have, but I'm not 100% sure. sweatdrop

I have, however, heard the opening song to the anime and I adore it. ^^ Please don't post any pics in this thread, any pics you do wish to post can go into the Picture thread in the stickies, I have already posted some pics there for this series. If you wish to include spoilers please use white text so that it is hidden from all the people who haven't seen more then a few eps of the anime and/or haven't read the mangas.

Dark & Daisuke.
Daisuke & Satoshi.
Dark & Krad(I think that's the name... I can't remember cause I don't own the mangas even though I've ready them. sweatdrop )
Kard & Satoshi.

I think the anime's already out in English, and yes it is a really good series. ^^ You'll love it.

*squeals excitedly* I just found out that a friend whos flying in this week is bringing the DN angel manga AND anime!!!! I get to see it now!!! YAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!! I can't wait!! whee

I ADORE this series! Yukuri Sugisaki is my favorite artist, and DNAngel is my favorite series of hers. I'm boderline obsessed. heart

I have up to the seventh manga and the second DVD, though I'm going to be getting the third very soon. Wendy, you're correct, the Anime series started getting created before the manga series ended. Sugisaki had her hands in both projects though, so both are fantastic. The anime is defintely very different from the manga, but I like that personally. Espcially since all the characters are still true to who they are in both versions. What I mean is, the the characters have the same personalities, so though the storyline is different, the integrity of the series was left intact.

The opening song to the Anime does rock, the soundtrack is worth having. The song is called Caged Bird btw.

Does anyone know any good fanfics for this series? I've gone looking, and come up pathically empty handed. Most of what I found was unrealistic drivel, driven by badly written kiss scenes with completely OOC characters (which I hate, because I love the characters just as they are. Besides the fact that it's not to hard to make a Yaoi out of this series without resorting to changing the characters or anything. Spoliers: I mean, Satoshi turns into Krad when he's around Daisuke. It's screams of gay (if unrequited in the series) love. None of the characters are hardcore straight. (Expect perhaps Dark...)

*hugs all her DNAngel mangas* I love this manga series. heart heart heart DNAngel is one of my favies, if not my favorite. I've got vol. 1-6 and waiting for the 7th one. whee I haven't seen the anime yet, but when I get money I will own it. tehe.

Anyways, my fav. pairing is, Dark/Daisuke. xd I like all the other pairings as well. I'm not as picky with this series as I am with others.

Tsunuffy its so easy to slash them. There are so many parts that are totally shounen-ai, expecially with Satoshi and Daisuke.
