Ok,now this thread is for 6/6/06.
I want to know,why are people making such a huge deal bout it?
Is supposed to be the birth of someone bad,or the gates of hell opening?
I am getten angry becuase people are saying O 6/6/06 is coming it's the end BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!!!!!
I know me and i hope other people will stay down here and help me god and christ fight satan and his people.

dude...its like helter skelter hippe said in the other thread "is this true" ya, its the end of the world..if God secretly destroys the world every hundred years. and also, think about this...the dinosaurs lived for millions of years right? if it was 7 of OUR days that God made the world, then they woulda lived fer only a day r so...so think bout it like tha, 1 day to God is like millions to us. its only been 2,000 years, i dun think its the end of the world bro. but if you wanna fight back, pray, you feel like ur being attacked, be foreful with your rebuke. you wanna stay strong? put on the full armor of God, and take up the sword. to be a warrior of God, is to use your mouth and knowledge, prayer and the bible are your weapons. When God sets fire to your soul, its Him inside you, allowing you to fight back fiercly. it allows me to fight back fiercly. but remember the power of the name Jesus Christ. None is stronger, remember that ^^

It's JUST a date. Period. Nothing's going to happen. According to Revelation, 666 is the number of the Antichrist. But that's still a ways off, so no worries. heart

For a long time (since the translation of the Bible into English), it was thought that the number 666 was the mark that the Beast of the Earth (note: not actually the Anti-Christ, just his herald) would put on everyone of his followers' heads or hands. This number would be needed to conduct and financial transactions or official business. Now, with new translators working on the Bible, there is reason to believe that the number was actuall 616.
However, the point is that 666 has nothing to do with the coming of the Anti-Christ. The Beast still gets dominion over the earth for quite some time before the Anti-Christ comes, and the number is put into place after the Beast's power has been established.

There is already a thread similar to this, but I will repost what my chaplin responded to me on this subject. I did not ask directly about 6/6/06 but he explains a lot of great things. Chaplin Steve First, a word on anti-christ. Historically, anti-christ does not refer to a
single person, such as satan, or the son of satan. Anti-christ simply meant,
anything anti-christian. So, when Martin Luther called the pope the
anti-christ, he was not calling him satan, but anti-christian, or against what
Christ stood for. 1 John, (which is believed to be the same John who wrote
Revelations, which I will talk about later) also talks about anti-christs, but
is like Luther, NOT talking about Satan, but about people who do un-Christian
things.
The beast, and the mark of the beast are from Revelations, starting in chapter
13, and going on through the next few chapters. Like I said, Revelations was
written by John, but it was written while he was in prison on the island of
Patmos. He wrote about his visions that he saw while he sat, all alone in this
prison. So, his visions tend to NOT be very happy ones.
If you read through chapter 13, you will see what I think all the excitement is
about. At the very end of the chapter, it says the number or "mark of the
beast" is the number 666. Numbers are all over the Bible, and they are NOT
intended to be accurate, but symbolic. What is the symbolism of 666? Well, 7
is the number which represents perfection. 7 is all over the Bible and it is
always a good number; 7 days to finish creation, you must forgive 70 time 7,
there were 7 baskets of food left after the feeding of the 5000, and other
examples. So what is 6? 6 means IMperfection--it is close to perfection, but
is not perfect. The fact that they triple the numbers to 666 is just meant to
make sure we understand that this is the ultimate imperfect one. What I take
from John saying that the mark of the beast or satan is 666 is that satan or the
beast is deceptive. Symbolically, 666 is very close to 777, so Satan is going
to try and appear perfect, very harmless, and decepti
ve. And if you think about the nature of sin, that is pretty close to reality.
As an example, a drug addict most likely does not decide one day to inject
heroin into their veins, but probably starts out with "something harmless" like
smoking pot or taking some pills. Gradually, the addiction takes over, and they
need real help. "The devil will not attack us from the front, but is much more
devious than that." I think this is what John is saying by giving us that
symbol 666 as the mark of the beast.
Now, none of this was sexy enough for Hollywood, so back in the 70's (I think)
they made a movie called "The Omen" which mixed all this stuff up and got it all
wrong. It was a scary movie and made loads of money, so Hollywood was happy,
but they did a bad job of telling the true story. Bottom line is, if you watch
The Omen, or The Exorcist, or whatever the latest horror movie is, we don't have
to worry about this stuff. The devil is whipped. God is victorious, and will
not allow the devil to have his way with us. Of course, Hollywood wants to make
money, so they will keep on making these movies, and the televangelists want to
scare Jesus into you, and want you to send them money, so they will keep on
telling you that Satan or his son will rule the world for a while. But all that
is a load of crap! We have nothing to worry about because God is in charge, and
we are his.

Yes i have been fighten and its f**cken annoying((sorry bout that)),
On myspace there was this chain letter going around saying if you dont repost then you will die crap like that.
I want to know,Could it,or could it not?
If it is coming soon or As i beleave 6/6/06 is the bornation of someone that will try to take over the world like hitler or saddam,then its fine,but i want to know if its time to sparn my sword and prepare for a war against satan and his people.

If the date is significant, wouldn't it have happened on the year 6 a.d.? I think you're reading too much into it.

Well its suposely "Saitin's Date"also I heard its in the Bible that it is.But dont worry it would be stupid of him to come to you,because one hit and hes a gonner for Christ lives in you and Christ has died for you and he wil sure fight for his people!My teacher told me((AT christian school*That if Saitin came up to us he would be a gonner*if your a christian any way*So dont worry!^_^

It's a date, a date that happens two have three sixes in it. People are just being silly and supersticious. Nothing happened on 06/06/1906 or 1806 or 1706 and so on.
All i know is the remake of 'the omen' is coming out. A film about the anti-christ or something. Thats it!

6/6/6 is just a day, in fact it's my friend Emily's 15th birthday.
Nothing is different.
Plus in everything logical wouldn't the cursed one be June 6th of the 6th year after the birth of Christ? because it's technically 06/06/2006. It's not like there haven't ever been three 6's in a date before like this.
people just over react.
God's plan will unfold in time, until then, people should just love like every second is their last on Earth, because all the believers will either die or be taken up into the sky anyway.
