My kitty Bill isn't doing so good. He's breathing odd, he yowls like he's in pain and then pees or poops on my floor while laying down... I called the vets' but we just can't afford to get him there for another visit. They're gonna have the vet call me, but I don't know what else to do. I'm scared for my cat, I'm gonna be leaving in 2 days and I don't know if I'd be able to take it if I came back and they had to put him to sleep...

This reminds me of my old cat Felicity. She was only nine and we took her to the vet because we noticed she wasn't eating and...it turned out that her liver was failing and we couldn't afford the eight thousand operation for another one so we had to put her down.
It was a hard thing to go through and I know that it's doing to be hard for you get over it (even though my cat was a b***h, she was loving) but it always helps to have people there for you. ::hugs Ashy::

The person who answered the phone said that the shot htey gave him had steroids in it so it's supposed to make him pee more and eat and drink more. But he's only peed and crapped and then went to sleep. I'm real worried for him. *cuddles Billy* I really don't want to have him put down, but if it's the only way we can help him...*sigh* I'm just gonna see what the vet says...

NOOOOO!!! Not the poor kitty!! crying It reminds me of my first cat, Brattly. His kidney's failed and we had to put him down.... It was sooooo sad crying crying

I'm really sorry. Doesn't sound good. Can't you take him to the vet just to spare his suffering? Would they charge you so much? cry

I can't afford to have him hospitalized. I hope my parents take him to there anyway...

Awww sad *huggles* It'll be alright. I'm sure your kitty had a happy life with you, and now is in peace and out of pain. Just think he is better now and as happy as he was when he was with you.
