Alaska is a land of wonder. Ive been there twice actually, worked up there for two summers. Took some pretty amazing pictures. I figure Ill end up back up there one of these years.
Ill keep the pictures short (as not to whore them off) but if people are interested I can PM more or what not.

Guessing that your 7-day cruise is over by now since it is now near the end of June and you posted on the end of May, I hope you had tons of fun.

Cruises are fun, as long as the place of destination is where you long to go explore to and that you are having fun along the way.

I've been to Alaska many times and it is amazing there. The scenery and the many activities you are able to do are simply glorious. Hope you had a wonderful time there as well as took lots of pictures from your amazing trip.

Ill tell you one thing thought those 7 day cruises show you the tourist sites but there is a lot more to see then what the other massive amounts of peopel next to you are seeing. There are places to hike up to in the wilderness wher ento too many people have been before and beautiful sites to see that ver few others see on a regular basis. You wont find any other state that comes close to it with sheer beauty tied in with danger.

i was there... it was beautiful... lots of mountains... and when i was there i even seen the northern lights... but the thing i loved the most was this highway that went above the clouds and it was an amazing view (i think it was call the north alaskan highway). but it wasnt all snow and ice when i went there(summer time)

I lived up in Alaska for a year. I really liked it up there. I don't think I ever saw the northern lights, but then again I haven't been there since I was 9. Sometimes I hated the summers. It could be midnight and the sun was still out. It took me awhile to get used to the winter, which is funny because now I can't stand a winter in New York.
