Ok. There are all kinds of 'Itachi Fanclubs' and 'Itachi fangirls' crap. Yeah, I'm a girl, but I have respect enough for the guys too. So, here, BOTH members of the sex can discuss aobut Itachi and Akatsuki in a rather mature way. So no 'I LOVE ITACHI' and 'ITACHI IS SEXY' stuff. Take that to the fangirls thread.
Here, you can talk about serious topics: Why the Kyuubi is important, what is the importance of gaining the Kyuubi, Itachi's past, Kisame and the others of Akatsuki, and so on and so forth.
Please be respectful and courteous about this topic. I really am tired of all the fangirls area and all. *sigh* Even though there are other discussions, I would just like to have one here to prove how serious I am about the respectable Uchiha Prodigy and the fearful Akatsuki. ^_^ Gotta love the bad guys!

Well when Itachi killed almost the entire Uchiha Clan, you know how he said that he was doing it to "test his 'Utsuwa'", which can mean vessel, container, abiliti, or tool.So my question is do you think Itachi killed everyone of his own free will or could Orochimaru be involved because he does use that word when he takes over the bodies of others with his "Living Corpse Reincarnation"?
I think this is a good theory but I don't find it totally believable.
I hope it was okay to post that here sorry if it wasn't

I dont really know. It is possible, and it is likely. But since that there is no evidence, it gives us every right to theorize and believe what we want about the taboo. I actually do think that Orochimaru was involved, however, there may be more to it Itachi's family did seem to drive him, and that probably pushed him over the edge. He was pretty much expected to be the best-of-the-best, and he saw himself that too, but his family didnt need to but in.
I feel like he WANTS to be killed by Sasuke. And that he DOES regret what he had done. He just cant show it or feel it. It's like he doesnt know his true feelings and what he wants or he just cant bear to admit it to himself.
Then again, that may be just me. ^_^

That is a really good point. If you look at Itachi, he always seems sad and empty. When his family was arund, he always seemed sad, too. But, you see that he is more shure and , I dont know how to descrbe it, more of a nice guy when Sasuke was around. Also, in episode 85, it seemed like Itachi was hesitating to attack Sasuke. Maybe he just dos'nt know how to show his emotions, conserding what he has done. I posted a thery I found on Itachi here a whial ago, you guys can check it out, it covers alot of detail on different theries. It is sad, the whole thing. You can think from Sasuke's point of view, but is is a double edged sword. He could think :
1. This is the guy who killed my family, I need to avenge them by killing him.
or,
2. He is the only one who really ever cared about me, he is my brother, and my only family left.
It is all so sad, I think Itachi DOSE care about Sasuke.

Me too. And I also think that Kisame may have alot to do with it too. Itachi has a reputation to keep up to. And if he is always gossiping about his past of showing off even a tiny bit of emotion, it may seem suspicious or out of character. Itachi is a feared ninja, and that fear protects him pretty much, but if he were to give away any shown expression, people will figure that he has a weakness.
I guess the way I worded this makes sense. ^_^U

it dose make sence. but you have to wonder, why did he go through the trouble to kill off his family? he said he was testing his power, but I wonder what he was really thing, was he trying to give Sasuke a push, to help him get stronger? Or was he just flat out annoyed with the family life?
