Name: Louis Kaleb Palmer
Nicknames: Lou, Louie, Palmer
Meaning: Famous warrior
Gender: Male
Height: 6"1'
Weight: 180lbs.
Age: 45
Birthdate: February 10th, 1961
Parents: Oswald & Henrietta Palmer (Both deceased)
Siblings: Gloria (Oldest/deceased) & Maria (Older/deceased)
Family: Vicky (Wife/deceased), Raymond (Oldest son/alive) & Jane (Youngest daughter/alive)
Favorite Food: Steak
Skin Colour: It would best be described as "permanently tan" and very rough. From working outside doing physical labor most of his life, he's grow tough, callused hands and a dark colour to his skin, even though he was born rather pale and you can still tell he is the average white, American mutt.
Hair Color: Completely grey, short and spiked. Also sports a very small, grey beard on the end of his chin.
Eye Colour: Dark brown
Clothing: An average guy, he doesn't wear anything overly extravagant or flashy. Normally he just sports a t-shirt with random advertising on it along with a pair of jeans and a dirty old pair of work boots. Still wears his wedding band on his finger and a pair of glasses.
Apperance: Pretty good-looking and fit for a guy his age, despite the slight buldge in his mid-section that comes from age and... well, not eating right. He looks about 5 years younger then he really is, and despite the grey hair and smile-wrinkles around his eyes and face, seems like he'll age gracefully.
Likes: Sunrises, shooting starts, most people, good conversations, good food, cooking, laughing, loud music, coffee, smoking
Dislikes: Drinking, the cold, driving, reading, writing, math
Hobbies: Napping, eating, working, walking, sky gazing, generally goofing off and having a good time
Personality: Very easy-going and carefree, though can have a bad temper if someone pushes the right buttons.

Louis lived a rather normal and plain life. Born in Felton, Delaware into the family of Oswald and Henrietta Palmer along with his two older sisters, Gloria and Maria he was the last of the Palmer family to be born. He attended Lake Forest Central Elementary and Highschool, along with his two sisters who were a couple of grades ahead of him. During her last year of highschool the youngest girl in the family, Maria, was killed in a car crash.

Like any family, they mourned the loss of their family member at such a young age; but time heals all wounds and Louis graduated when his time came.

Though like a lot of teenagers back then at his age, he did not attend college. Instead he jumped right into career that involved physical labor. He had never been the most fit of his age, but living on a farmhouse had gave him a rather strong upper body. His first career was putting up drywall, which he would stay with for five or more years before finding another manual labor job that he knew how to do. Most of them had to do with home repair.

When Louis turned 21, he happened to stumble upon a woman that worked at the local restaurant. He went there often and eventually, the two began to see each other more and more... outside of work. Not long after they had first started dating, the two were wed. Vicky Nansen then became Vicky Palmer and born two children, Raymond and Jane Palmer.

The family lived contently in the same town both Louis and Vicky had grown up in. The children went to school while they grew up, Louis worked his numerous repair jobs, and Vicky worked at a local retirment home. Everything went smoothly until after Louis turned 43. The kids were out on their own, both having gone off to college and then off to bigger and better things that their small town couldn't offer.

It was then that Vicky was diagnosed with breast cancer. Only a year later she was deceased, leaving a devistated Louis alone.

At first his children came by, comforted him and consoled him in the small home he had lived in while married to his lovely wife. But as time went by, both Raymond and Jane found themselves too busy to visit their father much other then holidays. With having no other realitives, his mother and father having passed on awhile ago, he had little to look foreward to save for the short and sparse visits from his kids.

During one Christmas, Raymond and Jane get an idea to send their father off to a special retirment community in the tropics. It seems like the perfect present. Their intents are anything but malice, both of them just wanting their father to retire and live his life happily. Hoping this would do the trick they offer it up to him as a Christmas present and after a long discussion and a lot of convincing... he accepts.

Also Known by Cheval de Trait Ardennais or Ardennais (French), Belgian Ardennes

The Ardennes is thought to be descended from heavy draft horse praised by Julius Caesar in De Bello Gallico. Ancestors to the breed are thought to have been bred on the Ardennes plateau for 2,000 years. The breed was valued by Napoleon for its endurance. The Ardennes is among the oldest of the European heavy draft breeds. During the eighteenth century, Arabian breeding was introduced into the breed and more recently Belgian Draft blood was used to increase size and strength of the animals.

The Ardennes is a lighter, mountain bred, version of the Belgian Draft horse. It was used in creating the Baltic Ardennes, Russian Heavy Draft and Swedish Ardennes. They may be bay, roan, chestnut, gray or palomino. Black is excluded from registration and is very rare.

These animals have been praised for their calm, tolerant disposition and their ability to work in hilly and rough terrain. It is also said that, for its size, it is an economical animal to feed.
