This is also in my college grammar book, but it's not with me right now. I used to always say "I could of done that." Could Of or Could Have?
Could of does not exist. Neither do should of, will of, or would of as verbs.
Write could have, should have, will have, or would have

When I actually say "could have" I say it much like this:
I could've done this.
Which sounds a lot like could of. It's just in contraction form.
Not could of. Could've. Say them both.
I think we found the problem razz

Hah, I usually write "could of," but one day I realized that it was wrong, but I still use could of. (But I wish I could stop crying )
