I have a question thank you. xD;

you see, it's my time of the month. (Well...It should be) and I THINK I got a sign of my period...I think. On Sunday I saw that there was blood, and put a tampon in. Then went out to swim. I know that tampons are waterproof, and that you stop bleeding while you're in water. Before I went to bed that night, I took the tampon out to replace it. NOTHING. There was only about half a teaspoon of blood on it. .___.' I'm so confused, I think my body is having worse mood swings then the ones I get.

I have been moody too, so everything SEEMS normal, but the blood part.

It's Tuesday, and I've had a underwear liner on. (Just in case. ;D ) but nothing but out charge.

Nothing burns at all, I don't have sex, or masturbate. It smells like it should. (Not dead fish or yeast, like my out charge.) Also, I'm 14. If that helps.

I don't think I broke my hymen, it would have hurt correct? I felt nothing.

So I'm wondering, should I be worried? I know a lot about the female body, and have studied as much as I can to avoid making the wrong choice in the future. But I've never heard about this before.

Thank you in advance. <33

All female bodies are different. Starting your period doesn't always mean getting a full blown period; it's unlikely that you'd immediately start going through tampons like someone whose been on theres for a year or so. You just started and its reasonable that it was only a small amount. You shouldn't be worried.

Women also vary on cramp pain and the amount of blood. Some hardly feel the discomfort of being menstral while others (like me) have a week a living hell.

I've had my period since I was in 6th grade. o.o; I know how it works by now, and at the end of the month a BIG blow of blood attacks my underwear. ._.; This time, only a little bit.

Stress can cause your periods to change. Has anything in your life changed? More stress at home or at school?

At 14 it's normal for your period to be regular for a few months, then change with no warning. I'm 19 and my periods do that.

If you are still seriously worried, I'd go to a doctor. They might be able to figure out what's wrong.

There has been one big thing, but it's been going on for 5 months. And my period hasn't changed at all. ._.
