this oasis is the only reason anyone could possibly live in the desert as the scorpion clan does. it is located in the center of the village where all may share in its bounty

Okay kids today we are going to learn three things...speed, stealth, and unique powers. Now I want the both of you to follow me running around the oasis. It's a game of tag, you catch me and you'll have mastered the first lesson...ready, set, go!!!
*Kazuma took off and left the kids behind. Soon after the kids began to dash right behind him.*
We can catch him...*Seris said*
I hope so...*Rai said as they continued.*

*It was now that Seris and Rai were right behind him. He could feel them breathing down his back so he sped up. He knew they could never catch him. But the object was not just quickness of body, but quickness of mind. To be a warrrior, one must have both.*
You'll never catch me, like that you won't anyway. Think about the game...there are two of you and one of me, use your mind!!!
Rai! That's it! We will use our minds to catch him.
Got it! We split up!
*They seperated, Seris went up a tree while Rai tried to chase Kazuma. They had set the trap. Now as soon as Kazuma was chased in front of the tree, Seris would jump onto his back. It was fool proof...or was it?*

*Kazuma had saw through this trap fully, he knew what they were thinking so he went along with it. He smirked as he willingly went into the trap. And as Seris jumped he bent backwards, like doing the limbo. Of course Seris missed and got a face full of sand, while Kazuma laughed.
Once again, think...I said there were three things you were learning today, so use your mind correctly.
*The kids thought while Kazuma had stopped right infront of them...leaving himself open.*
Speed, Stealth, and Special powers...
I got it! we have to use them all! Now here's the plan.
*Kazuma tried to creep closer and listen in. But they whispered too low.*

*But that was their plan the whole time. As Kazuma crept, Rai used his powers of mirage and mental telepathy. To make it seem like they were both there, and Seris had used multiplication powers to make copies of himself. He sent them and himself underground to wait for. Kazuma.*
Are you ready?
Yeah we're ready.
*Rai said he sent the hologram Seris and himself into chasing after Kazuma, meanwhile the real Seris and his clones were waiting for Kazuma to step in the right place. There they could strike and catch him off guard.*

*Kazuma didn't see it coming, as soon as his foot hit the ground. Seris and the clones jumped out and grabbed him. Kazuma couldn't believe it... he had gotten caught by them. He could do nothing but smile proudly.*
Good job guys... looks like your first lesson is over.
Yay! We won.
Yeah!!!
*Kazuma noticed that the sun was starting to go down, and wanted to get the kids home.*
Time to go guys...better hop on.
*Kazuma let them jump on his back, and he carried them home as he began to dash at half speed to get them home.*

As we landed I set Kazuma down upon the hot sand...."i hope this works kazuma but its all I could think of.....I'm sorry...."I siad softly and sat down painfully on the sand besides him. Soon sweat broke out on my head. So hot, I thought....but if it helps Kazuma....its worth it. I then waited for him to wake up. hoping that it would be soon before I was fried in the sun.

I smiled over at him, "You're.....in the desert. Dose it not look familiar to you", I said softly. I then looked at him in concern,"How are you feeling"? I then softly pushed back down onto the sand. "Stay resting for now, you need it".

I looked up I felt a strong presence nearby and looked towards the oasis. "Kazuma, stay here.....I'll be right back....", I said and then walked towards the oasis. It felt 100 times better in the shade. Who I saw standing on the water of the pond made me shiver. "Chan! Why are you here", I called out and drew my sword holding it in front of me.

Chan just stood there and smiling as his shadow entered the water causing the fish in the water turn to dark sand and gather in the bag on his side. "Im here to speak to you."
