AREA
AREA: OCEAN PLATFORM -- CLEAR DAY NO STORM IN SIGHT
Ocean Platform: A platform floating on the ocean waters with no land in sight. Platform may become slippery from ocean waters. Although on the sea, the platform is so large that it won't tip over unless there's a strong storm with very rough waves.

It had taken a while for Master Calabur to get used to the gentle rocking of the sea platform. It was rare that he took a voyage across the waters, and usually it was never willingly. This time, however, there was a battle to be had!
Calabur stared down his opponent, beady little bear eyes glaring. It was a clear day, and not a storm in sight. He could plainly see who he was up against. Why was it so hard to find an oppoent that was the same height? It didn't matter. Calabur recalled taking down many enemies twice his size or more in the past. Clentching and unclentching his paws, he gives his neck a small jerk left and right, producing a rather loud crackling sound.
"Alright you whelp," Calabur raised a small bubble sheild around him, it was rather weak and almost completely transparent, "show this old bear what you've got."
((I never did finish those pictures to show how large the ocean platform or volcano are.... D: are they really needed? The ocean platform is .... about the size of a HS football field I think.
XD;; Cho I need the updated NPC moves list :3 pweeze?))

((Assuming he can post here now...))
Kuro, Human at this point in time, stood with his array of weapons on the far side from Calabur. At this point, he was about ready to do two things. One of them was to choose what one of the largeish close range ones to keep with him.
The other was to puke.
He moaned slightly as he edged away from the sides more, not that there was anywhere to go, or that he needed to move. He just really hated the position he was in. He had been on a ship before. He hadn't felt this sick. He liked the water - He just couldn't swim. But right now he was sea sick, even with the small ammount of rolling. But that'd probably pass when the adrenaline kicked in.
Pondering his options for a moment, he took the sword from it's holder, and the umbrella from its. Leaning his left side on the sword, not really inclined to moving, he tossed the umbrella towards Calabur forciably with his right.
Kuro knew He had no chance in hell of hitting him, but he also knew that running in right now would be bad. As for the umbrella, he was feeling sporting. And he needed two hands the bring the sword around quickly.
"Come and get me..." He moaned.
((First rule of combat. Make the first move, but never make it look like you did.))

((D: Chill Chill
well if we were in a serious rp group, I'm sure the measurements would be very important. But right now, HITS and everything relates are just experiments by myself to see what it's like RPing and trying new stratagies that I haven't seen on Gaia yet. Like giving out prizes.
I gotta get ready for my little brothers graduation. I"ll try to get back to this by then.))

Calabur stood his ground. He often disliked making the first move, but today...
"Have it your way." Dropping the weak shield, Calabur brought up four baseball sized bubbles. They materialized quickly, and floated very still around Calabur's twitchy ears. It wasn't moment or two before the bear sent one flying toward Kuro's face. Size of a baseball, not quite as fast as a major leauge pitcher, but his accuracy was second to none.
