Eclipse drove up to the large gate and that stood at the end of the drive way and stopped the car, he pressed the button to open the gates. Once they were open he drove in a little bit, got out and pressed the button once more to shut them so none of his pets got out. He ran back and got into the car and carried on driving up the long drive way and finally stopped outside the manor.

The manor was covered in moss due to how old the place was and it looked like it was also the type of house that would be haunted, little did the rat know this house WAS haunted. However the fox knew to keep that peice of information to himself as he smiled up at the old mannor and was pleased to be home, just like the other times hes gone out and pleased to come back here.

Granted noone in their right mind WOULD could back here after being in the house once even if it was for five minutes. However Eclipse wasnt exactly what you would call someone who was 'right minded' due to the fact he was a demonic vampire fox. He turned his gaze away from his manor and smiled at the other "Well, we're here" he said to the rat as he picked Priscilla up from the back seat, wraped her around his neck, shut the door and walked around to the other side, opening the door for the rat.

"Hopefully the house will be warm enough for you as im sure the maids will have lit the fires in almost all rooms so the place should be warm" he said as he waite for the other to get out of the car.

While the fox and rat were comming in a butler opened the door for them and waited as he knew what would happen to him if he didnt. He would rather be a slave to the vampire then go through the torture that fox would inflict upon him and/or the other servents in this house if they didnt fulfil their duty.

There was a dark story behind the vampire and the servents and even the house that the others did not speak of and just went on their way and did as what was asked of them. The servents were scared more of the house and the ghosts and things that resided in it then of the vampire the vampire and his 'toys' and 'pets' were just one reason alone when it came to this house and its dark past.

He was mostly just bowled over by the size. That and the hints of luxury - like having the word 'maids' in the conversation - you know, plural? Because Gideon had learned long ago that size didn't necessarily mean wealth, though apparently in this case...

So maybe there really was no reason to be a little nervous about the whole encounter - maybe it was just that Eclipse was one of those reclusive philanthropist types--who smelled funny. Eegh. Yeah... the whole estate felt odd in that exact same way. So again, maybe it wasn't Eclipse so much as that the place had rubbed off on him somehow.

Maybe not the best time to tell his host that his home was less than normal. All of Gideon's mental supernatural-dectectors were going off in the direction of MAY DAY about now. "I'm good, thanks," he assured lightly, hopping out of the car and taking a step back to attempt to take in the entirety of the mansion. Nope. Not helping. Probably needed something like a hundred or so more steps back to be able to see the whole darn thing. Wow.

Blinking and peering closer at the mansion, perhaps in hopes that he'd get more out of careful examination than encompassing summarization, Gideon tilted his head in question at the butler. "Does he look... a little ill to you?" he asked as they approached the door. The effects of whatever strange supernatural entity (entities?) that nested here, perhaps...

On the inside of the house there were stairs leading up to the second floor on the right and around the hall as 'decoration' was old paintings done by famous artists back in the 1500's. There were suits of armor and old tapastries also lining the walls and an old grand piano in the corner next to a small bar to the left of the huge fire place in front of them, the 'room' itself just looked like something out of a scary old movie.

However, the whole house looked like something that came out of the Addam's Family house. It wasnt decorated like their house exactly but granted it was definatly equal to how their house looked, decorated with probably just as much 'spooky' things as their Addam's Family house was.

The butler smiled at the both of them "welcome home sir, dinner will be ready momnterily, I have set a drink up for both by the fire in the parlor" he said to them as he shut the door once they were inside. He smiled at his 'master' and looked at him, talking to the fox with his eyes as if to tell him something.

Eclipse smiled looked at the butler and nodded as he read his eyes, knowing exactly what it was that was on his mind as he was used to it now. The butle just wanted to tell him that his 'wine' was on the right and the guests on the left so as to not get them mixed up, which meant Eclipse handing the rat his glass first before taking his which was the polite thing to do anyway but in this case, it was vital.

Eclipse smiled at the rat beside him as he took Priscilla off from around his neck and placed her on the ground and watched her slither off. Eclipse knew that she would finish her nap in the library as it seemed to be her favorite place to nap and shook his head "he isnt sick perse, he just lost a bit of blood due to an injury that had befallen him and so he is still recoperating from that.

He is told to rest, I want him to rest, but he just wont listen and wishes to carry on working" he said to the rat, leading him into the parlor where a tiger was laying down in front of the fire. "Please, dont mind Malika, she is nothing but a huge friendly cat" he said he walked over and crouched down and patted her.

It was the only big cat he owned as he knew one would be plenty and a handful but also because even he knew they could be dangerous. But the reason he had her was because she had been with him since she was a baby, Eclipse had rescued her and they had been together ever since.

Eclipse got up from finishing patting her and looked over at the glasses on the table by the sofa and picked them both up. Eclipse handed the rat his "I hope wine is alright, I can easily get you another drink if you wish" he happily offered the rat.

Aaaand.... not only did the place reek of big, wealth and vaguely creepy - it was old. Just--you just had to take the merest glance at the surroundings and--oh, he was in way over his head here... But not really that upset about it, because Gideon was to old, indecipherable things [read: antiques etc.] as a crack-addict was to... well... crack.

His eyes had certainly taken on that glazed, pleased look crack-addicts tended to have, and that expression didn't dissolve until Eclipse answered his question. Because--because--because wow! Just--just look around! And--and--wow! Maybe that was the weird thing about Eclipse? Maybe if you spent a lot of time around old things you started smelling old (strictly in the way of auras of course) and then that would be weird, with all the normal, modern people around to contrast. But... there was still something... yeah... kinda creepy about this place... that lingered on Eclipse... For it had entirely escaped the realm of possibilities in Gideon's viewpoint, that Eclipse himself might be the source of the creepy.

"Oh--uh--should he be walking around so much?" he asked automatically, not really concerned - well, kinda. As much as you could be about a total stranger. He'd never really been that comfortable with servants anyway--oh yeah. Uh... No. Kinda concerned. But it was kinda rude to ask after that sort of thing, right? What with the whole employer-employee business being a private matter and all.

But Gideon's preoccupation was once again cut off. This time by something a tad more creepy than slightly-ill-servants. All the instincts that had shivered and squeaked at the sight of Priscilla went blaring at the glimpse of 'Malika' - Gideon couldn't quite bring himself to call the cat anything but 'Terrifying'. He'd never liked felines either - not much more than snakes. Never cared for lamias or the feline anthros much either. Gave him the heebie-jee--oh stars, what was that thing doing inside? He froze, blinking furiously at the tiger and silently willing it to go away - or for himself to turn invisible, one or the other was fine - not even hearing Eclipse's offer.
