Everyone has heard of World of Warcraft right? Well, what if Blizzard made a World of Starcraft? Think it would be popular? I would be a ghost. They rock. whee

The idea sounds too far-fetched to work properly. For one, storyline-wise, there would be three playable races/factions with no real enemy to fight save for something Blizzard might pull out of their asses (which is really what they're doing for most of the Burning Crusade WoW expansion save for Draenor and Northrend). Assuming that Infested Duran's threats were true, all there would be to fight are Zerg-Protoss hybrids, and one single enemy type does not an MMORPG make.
But of course, Blizzard could also pull the Xel-Naga out of their asses, but that would be just stupid.
The Starcraft universe is ultimately more suited towards real-time strategy.

the company who was originaly working on it quit so they changed companys.
the current company shelfed the project and it was cancelled a few months back

((the left is a gif of siera from suikoden two and the right is what my followers call the jarian eye of doom.
the concept was based on lunar 2 eternal blue: lucias pendant and the true blue moon rune of suikoden two
its an rp insignia for a guild i moderate in
Byako City of Everything
it was made by Swordmaiden14 a talented artist who works for commison

I think it's unlikely that they would make it.
With World of Warcraft out, it just wouldn't be profitable.
