g y m In the heart of Marina City lies a spectacular stadium. A giant tank, flowing with sea water and several dozen feet deep, is in the center of the gym. The water is a deep, dark blue, especially near the bottom. Infested with aquatic plant life, there is seating circling the tank completely. Coral is hanging over the seats, giving it a full ocean-feel. Several vistas constructed of coral are spread across the surface of the tank. There are two giant clam thrones overhead the tank, each at the opposite end. In this gym, all non-water pokemon are put in a giant air bubble that surrounds them. Each time they are attacked, you roll a 100-sided dice. If you get an even number, the bubble does not burst. If you get an odd number, the bubble does burst. If the bubble pops, your pokemon is forced to the surface, where it must collect it's breathe. But this leaves them open to attack! So, a lot of strategy must be put into this battle. b a d g e The illustrious Sea Note Badge denotes that the trainer has proven themselves to Nami. Glistening like the sea and elegant like Nami's voice, the badge is always moist. Raises the strength of all water-type moves, and prolongs the effect of sleep.

r o m Like all the other Gyms in the Tentou region, Marina City has Rules of the Month. Rules of the month, or rom, add a little spice to battles. Every month, the gym will cycle through two new sets of special battling rules. They are there to test the trainer's actions in different situations. [o] -- All fire-type attacks are negated [o] -- Sleep lasts for 5 turns

h o f Situated next to the entrance of the stadium, a Milotic statue watches over everything. All trainers who have overcome the trials of the Marina City Gym carve their names in honor of their victory on the statue. This is the Hall of Fame, or just the "hof". "now....this is quite unusual" said a amuzed and curious poke as she stood in front of the tank. it was huge! and fillied with water. she knew that it would require some interesting moves to pull this off.
walking through she managed to make her way accross the seating and near the clam throne. "cool...l get to stand on one of these?" she pondered out loud
one of the pokeballs on her waist poped open as pan the raichu emerge and looked at the tank fillied with water. she felt very excited that poke decided to use her for a gym battle, and hoped that she could win a gym badge.

Studiously observing poke, Nami arised from to her extravagant clam throne. Gingerly taking a seat on the cushioned seat, Nami decided it best to strike a conversation with her opponent. "So, poke, what do you think of the gym?" Aerith wasn't too far away from Nami, as she assorted flowers in a basket. She wasn't really listening to the battle, she was too absorbed in her own little world. A chubby, clumsy Miltank ran up the stairs and dived into the water, landing on a coral vista. She was to be the one in the battle today.

beaming, poke gave a thumbs up sign once she saw nami. "it's a pretty dam good gym if you ask me, so how about we give it a run through to see how it goes?"
looking behind and finaly realising what she was sposed to do, she sat cross legged on the clam and almost layed backwards, but kept her focus. you can lead off if you want"
seeing the milktank jump into the water, pan was quick to follow suit. Diving in, she paddled to the surface and boobed there, feeling a little awkard. At least the water wasn't cold...

The Miltank wasn't stupid. It was aware a lightning attack in this water would hurt. A lot. Nami sang a note so sweet, that Koko recognized what it meant. Curling into a defense curl, she rolled into the water, as a bubble enveloped her. (Alright, that was a crappy post, I blame it on my fatigue! D=)
