The necklace pictured has more of a Gothic theme than Egyptain, almost, but eloquent all the same. I recognized it as an ankh, the symbol of life and so many other definitions, the very first instant I laid my eyes on the painting, for you see I happen to be an avid collector of such necklaces. Or anything relevent to ancient Egypt for that matter. I have only five in my possesion, but none compare to this strange ornament.

I had never seen one quite like it before. Bright metal twists into the ancient shape in a jagged fashion, adjoining many smaller barbs that juts from its gleaming sides, adding a stylish flare to the emblem. I am hesitant to run my fingers along the illustration. The bristles look sharp enough to cut ones finger if mishandled, even when I know it is only an image. I have not the boldness to attempt the feat however.

The background, a mixture of red and black with a silvery aspect, appears too cloudy for any real observations, save for its recondite manner. With this resource, it was hard for me to divine any emotions. Everything was whimsical and chancy, and what I did pick up on was very erratic at times. I understand it a little better now the Rai is here with me. Her attitude is still slowly developing but her present nature is hinting at some kind of parallelism. I try not to dwell on it.
