So...yeah. I thought it was pretty good. Nice to see Usagi again. Though, the fact that they insisted on using that girl's full name every time they addressed her annoyed me. (I forget her name, I must have repressed it) but yeah, I enjoyed it. Action scenes were good, and the rhino was pretty funny. what with the sitting on things. I forgot his name too, sorry. =/ But hey, that girl was voiced by Misty! woah! lol

Must...watch...episode. I gots it recorded but so much stuff has went on today that I haven't got a chance to watch it.
Edit: I just watched it, and I do believe it was so awesome. xd calling Leo from the Kame clan..which would probably be true if he was from the dimension.

It was indeed a great episode. As a religious reader of Usagi Yojimbo, this ep was a pleasure to watch. The only thing that annoyed me was the voice of Lord Noriyuki (the panda bear). He sounded like a 5-year-old!! (Oh and Gohan, the name of the girl was Tomoe Ame)
If you haven't read the comic, you are missing out!! You will have a much greater appreciation for the episode, since it was directly based on one of the comics. (I forget which #, though).

I got the impression he was supposed to be a young lord from this episode, but I'm not sure if that was just one of 4Kids stupid voice acting moves.

Yeah, I think I see it that way now too... I'll have to check out Noriyuki's bio online someday being the geek I am! Mabye it will say his age. You can't really tell from the comics!

I have to say that Tomoe's voice was not what I would have given her, but I thought Lord Noriyuki was fine since he is a little kid; no, I don't really know how old he is even though I've read through a slew of the Usagi comics (current favorite is Space Usagi . . loved seeing Space Usagi get to fight with his fuedal ancestor Usagi! xd ). But I was smart enough to tell my siblings and best buds "now you can get into the comics easier -- you've just met enough of the characters that you wouldn't be totally lost!" Truthfully, I'd just like someone else in my family to start reading the darn things as much as I do! wink
By the way . . Usagi reminds me of Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin (or Samurai X as it gets called over here . . silly name, really, but that's what they use . .) and I was wondering if he'd struck that chord with someone else, too.

Well . . honestly Usagi's getting a bad rap with the ninja stuff in this episode . . but I don't think that I'd want the Ninja Turtles put into the same pot as the blood-thirsty, dirty, conniving little twerps that all the Neko ninja and such are in the Usagi comics. Trust me, once you've dipped your foot into the comics a lot of the anger at the ninja bashing in the episode will go away, Jin.
Also, when I made the remark about Kenshin (oh! and thank you for straightening me out on the fact that it's the movies that get the Samurai X title over here btw 3nodding ) I was comparing the comic version of Usagi with Kenshin. You don't really get any of it in the cartoon episode . . but let's just say that if anything happenes to Tomoe in the comic, Usagi acts a shell of a lot like our red-haired sword-wielding little 'oro' boy. It's sweet, really.

well all this japanese pronounciation stuff is beyond my knowledge blaugh
but i really did enjoy this episose and can't wait to see what happens next week when they go to the battle nexus. it was also nice to see leo in his ninja outfit. it brought back memories for me of his alt costume in 2003's TMNT game xd
that rhino guy...is he a good guy now? i could have sworn in the battle nexus tournament he was a bad guy. maybe he was just misunderstood or something whee

It's sweet, really.Yea I love Flame of Recca. xd And mainly cause of me, and Recca share the same views on the Ninja dissin' but I also like the series, and characters in general. sweatdrop As for Usagi being like Kenshin..yea I guess I shoulda guessed u meant comics wise lol sorry. And I can see why he hates Ninja but don't mean I gotta like him dissin them. As for the Rhino guy Rob..I just think he does stuff for money. He didn't really seem evil in the tournaments just...unhonorable. But thats just what I think I dunno for real.
