The Start
xxx ...is here.
Welcome to the second game of the SRC Sniper! The last game took a dramatic turn towards the end, and left most people hanging. The game now returns, with a more humourous, and certainly more enjoyable theme at hand.
I strongly advise everybody who missed the last game to participate in this one! I want more participation in general - more speculation, and whatnot. That's what makes the game fun, and we kind of condoned that last time.
Each new round starts at 3 PM, AEST.
All members (regardless of your role) must vote on who they believe the sniper is. Votes will be posted in the thread, and must contain your number (on the list), your username, the votee's number, and the votee's username. Do not use nicknames, please.
Sniper, you must send me your kill.
Saviour Team, you must send me your protect.
Newscaster, you must send me your guess.
Failure to send the required information by the end of each round will result in removal from the game.

The Plot
xxx How the game works.
The entire town fell silent. Dust and clouds of smoke flew all around. Not long after, the clouds dispersed, to reveal... nothing had happened. Everybody was still alive, and unharmed. By some unexplainable plothole, the dead players had also revived.
Now somebody else has taken the rifle, but who? Who will they kill? What else do I have up my sleeves? When will I stop talking like this like a complete utter idiot? The world will never know!
Anyway, the basic plot still applies. Amongst us is a sniper. This person conceals their identity from us, and slowly kills us all, one by one. It's the job of the other players to catch this person, and stop them before it's too late.
Things have changed this time around! The list of roles is as follows:
SRCers (formerly Members)
As usual, everyone should be assumed to be an SRCer. These people are simply a part of the game, and they contribute by sending people to jail. They also get murdered gruesomely, and then hung out to dry. Fun, huh?
Sniper
The big gun in the game. They need to give me a daily target who they'd like to snipe. If the SRCers don't catch the sniper before the end of each round, their target dies.
Jailkeeper
True to the name, a jailkeeper simply watches over the jail. If they die, the prisoners can run free.
Newscaster
This is a new role to the sniper game. The newscaster's job is to send me an educated guess daily for who the sniper is. They should try to ask around and gain clues to figure out who it could be. They're also free to post their guesses publically, along with any supporting information/evidence. Of course, there's nothing stopping people posing as the newscaster...
Saviour Team
The underused team from the last game is back! They need to contact me daily, and give me the name of the person they'd like to "protect". If the sniper goes after the same person, their shot will fail by some unexplainable concidence. They should participate in the thread and try to gain clues about who the sniper's target is.
These roles are chosen entirely at random.
Like the last game, you're highly encouraged to participate in the thread. How you act is what makes the game fun! You can lie, cheat, seduce - anything goes here. You can say you're the newscaster, even if you're the sniper! And so on and so forth~

The Rules
xxx What you can and can't do here, yo.
o1. Follow the guild rules! They exist because they're meant to be followed. >/
o2. One vote per person per round. Non-SRCers can't vote.
o3. I reserve the right to change the game in any way, for any reason, without any notice whatsoever.
o4. You must participate daily. Voting and contacting me (for the sniper, newscaster, and the Saviour Team) every day is the entire foundation behind your role. Failure to follow this requirement will result in you being removed from the game, and possibly replaced.
o5. Private messages sent about this game must be kept out of this thread. I don't care who you tell, or why, but they can't be posted in here.
