Have correct spelling I can not even begin to stress how important it is that your entries have correct spelling and grammar. Granted, everyone makes a typo now and then, but do not slaughter the English language!
Incorrect:
Yo, dis iz lyke da shizzle!Correct:

"Noobs" in general use chat speak such as the incorrect form noted above, and not only is it annoying and difficult to read, but it also shows how literate the author is. For both your sake and mine, please adhere to this rule.
Mmkay. You don't have to be the world's best speller or anything like that. Just make it easy enough for everyone to read. Ya know? Points will be taken off for grammar and speling mistakes. So, I suggest that before submitting it, make sure you put it into a word document or something and have everything spelled right!2.

If you are going to make it long, make it worth readingIn other words, please add
some creativity and originality to your piece. Make your entry stand out from everyone else's. Do not write about a girl going to school and coming back unless it is interesting.
While Mags does not prefer this, I could really care less. I would love to read about anything you guys can come up with. Even if it is boring. Don't be afraid to submit anything. I will accept any and all entries. Even if this gets the other Mods mad at me! 4.
Post or PM your storyEither is fine, though one is not preferred. If you do post it, please make sure that everything is in a readable format (i.e. Paragraphs, capital letters, correct punctuation, etc.)

Dessie feels the need to step in here. You will not be banned, but you will not be permitted to enter the contest. If you do not cease in flaming, then you will be suspended. No banning unless necessary! Ya know? But, constructive critism is allowed and appreciated. We love to hear from everyone and like it when you guys speak up, ya know? We really don't tolerate people criticizing others, as people come here to help one another and seek advice as to improve their writing.

We will accept entries from other contestsPlease attempt to write something original, as it will help you to be inspired to write. However, we will accept previous entries from other contests or schoolwork.

We also will accpet fan fictions. As long as you give credit to the owner of the series and all that junk. Dun wanna get in trouble, right?
