I now own an Xbox 360 premium system, an extra controller, the controller charger, and Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter.
Praise me.
Also, read over my list.
Next to Buy: 1. Call of Duty 2 2. Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (however, I'll be re-buying it - I have it on PC, but my PC can barely handle it) 3. Kameo
Someone with a 360, advise me!

Insanity^2 You should've bought the superior N-Gage QD I would have, but they stopped selling them at Best Buy due to their supreme coolness.

Take a look at Hexic and Bejeweled 2 to kill time between games in Live arcade
if you like fightign games take a look at DOA4
I hear Farcry is well worth the playthrough (hence its presence in my game Q)
and I will comment more on Oblivion when I rent it from Gamefly

I live in an unservicable area (we're inside the wreckage of the old Goodyear blimp), so we can't get anything but DirecWay, which is faster than DSL/Cable with everything but gaming.
Also, this thing didn't come with a demo disc of some sort. I am anguished.

I say get Burnout Revenge and Oblivion. I'm about to play G.R.A.W., Kameo, and Condemned, so I can't say much about them. Tomb Raider Legends and Perfect Dark Zero is worth a rental.
As for the Arcade (EDIT: When you get it), you should definitely get Hexic, Bejeweled 2, Marble Blast Ultra, Backspin Billiards, and the game I cream my pants over, Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved.

Well Hexic was preinstalled on the hardrive when I set up my Xbox.
I have not tried to access it while not signed on but since it is on the hardrive it should be doable
without live I do not know that you will be able to get Bejeweled 2 though

Aw, I'm so very sorry to hear The Outfit turned out horribly. It looked a lot like Mercenaries, which is one of my favorite Xbox games.
I'm looking at Perfect Dark: Zero and Call of Duty 2 as of right now. I might pop into Blockbuster tomorrow to rent one of them. Should be easy, since not too many people have Xbox 360's out here. There are like...30 of us within a 45-minute drive.

GRAW is a good game, but damn is it buggy. I've had to restart missions three times already because something didn't go off right, or because the coding was messed up.
Also, there's a lot of trial and error. You'll go two minutes without seeing an enemy, and then suddenly one pops out from behind the shadows as you walk by and kills you instantly.

I WAS going to suggest Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis, but ince you dont have Live maybe not. It's a multiplayer heavy game, but if you have frends that come over a lot or something then its perfect.

Call of Duty 2 should not be rented. You need to purchase it and own it forever and ever.
As for others: Oblivion, Perfect Dark Zero simply for the online I guess, Burnout Revenge and Project Gotham Racing.
No, I don't own a 360, but I know fanwanks in real life that let me play their games.
