What should the age be that seperates you and your gf/bf? Just a question that I thought would shed some light on proper dating differences.

Well,I heard someone say that scientists proved that the maximum age difference is 10 years,if the difference is bigger,it won't work out.

Hm, I won't choose an option on there because I think age makes little difference as long as they are both over 18 in age. My parents are 18 years apart, and have celebrated their 25th anniversary back in August. It's been a very happy, harmonious, wonderful marriage of true love and faithfulness.
I am a female irl, to let you know, but am older than my boyfriend which I guess is not very typical. I'm 22, he's 19. While I do wish we had waited with getting together until he was more mature, I think it is working out well regardless, we just had to have rocky times as he found out who he was. That can be the problem with young people in love; they aren't fully who they are, until they've had more experience and life in general. Views change over time. It's best to wait until both are 21, I would say, but hey who's going to listen to that? razz
Anyway, I don't think age should matter so long as both of them are old enough to make wise decisions.

To me, age doesn't matter, as long as there is love between the two.

It actually kind of depends. When you're younger (younger than 21), it is better to have a gf/bf that is 1-2 years older/younger than you. Although, when you get older and more mature, it could be up to a 20 year difference. Sooo.... ~Shrugs~ sweatdrop

ganaki age shouldnt matter.....but if its like 10-18 years diffrence.....i would kind if say that wont work....but who knows? Well one of my best friends is 20 and his bf is 36 (yes, they're gay). I was kinda shocked when I found out his bf was so much older, because he first said he was 26. But when I met the guy, I mean, seeing them together... they've been together for just over a year now, even live together. They're a really nice couple. It shows that age doesn't always matters. For most couples such an age difference probably won't work, but for a some it does.
